About this project
Canvassing LA is a side project my girlfriend and I thought up after relocating to Los Angeles six months ago from Indiana. After proclaiming a move to California for well over two years, we packed the kids, drained our bank accounts and made the move west with nothing more than a dream and an idea that our lives could be a bit better. Finally settling in Burbank we spent the next few months getting lost in our new city and loving every new neighborhood we found ourselves in. As an unemployed graphic designer in a new town I feverishly worked on personal projects to ease the pains of gainful employment hunting. After a couple months and finally landing a job, this Kickstarter project is the result of those countless sleepless nights in Los Angeles. While limited to only 10 neighborhoods in LA; we plan on using our Kickstarter funds to include more neighborhoods and reinvest into our CLASSIC YOUTH clothing line. Please let us know if your favorite neighborhood is missing and we will add it to our to-do list. Thanks for taking the time to check out our project and please keep checking back for weekly updates along the way.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk and challenge was met and accepted when we packed our children and belongings into our minivan and made the 2,100 mile trek to the west coast. Anything after that has been a breeze!
For now our project is limited to California neighborhoods thus limiting our pool of backers to only 1 state which is already a big risk. We are confident with future releases our base of customers can expand and grow with us, one state at a time.
The only other risk I see is when production comes into play and we begin printing our 10 different designs on either bags and or shirts. By offering a vast number of rewards production could get a little out of hand. Thankfully we have a solid relationship with a local printer and live next door to the Burbank post office. We welcome all huge orders and shipments with open arms!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
