Dear All,

Here is the first of the videos that the Piano Spheres series has uploaded from the 2013 concert premiere of this project. This is the slow, sultry third movement from John Williams' "Conversations," and the movement is entitled 'Chet and Miles' - i.e., Chet Baker and Miles Davis.

Hope you enjoy it!

To my very dear backers,

Much has happened in the meantime since the last update. MONTAGE had a NYC debut in January at (le) Poisson rouge, where the NJ- based family (like mine) of Michael Giacchino turned out in great numbers, and all went beautifully.

I'm writing now to let you know that our film was awarded BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT at the L.A. INTERNATIONAL UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL! It will be screened this Sunday, June 26 from 11am-1pm, along with other Official Selections at the intimate Complex Theater in Hollywood. I have one extra ticket and would love to offer it to one of you. http://www.laufilmfest.com/Festival.html

Let me know if you'd like to claim that extra ticket. Your help with this project has meant the world to me, and I hope see some of you at the screening.

Warmest regards,

Gloria

Hello All!

Just wanted to make sure that you know you can download the entire score of Don Davis' Surface Tension, and first pages for all five of Bruce Broughton's Five Pieces!

Download it here, and start practicing...I'd love to hear YOU play these pieces someday!

Meanwhile, I'm finishing yet another round of editing the film, having to shorten it for potential TV broadcast, and the plan is to enter it very soon in film festivals. I'll keep you posted in case it gets accepted - maybe we can all meet up in Cannes!

With unending gratitude to each of you,

Gloria

Pianostreet.com article, update

Hello,

I thought I'd share this from my friend, Patrik Jovell of Sweden, who travelled to L.A. for the film premiere of MONTAGE and wrote about on Pianostreet.com. Some you were there, too!

And believe it or not, I'm still working with an editor to get the film into an even better shape, because there is interest from the public TV station here. Wish me (us) luck!

Thanks again for all that you've done for this project. I never forget that as I continue to work on it.

Warmest regards,

Gloria
