In the 45 to 60 minutes game for 2 to 5 players, or alone with the included solo mode, you will have to build towers to protect the path leading to your city and send back the monsters to wherever they came from (or to your neighbours’ place, it works too, and it’s actually more efficient).
If an event card was revealed during the previous round, its effect is applied at the beginning of this round.
At each round, every player moves the monsters present on his path a number of squares equal to their level. One always starts with those closer to his city.
The player gets 2 monsters out of the forest, from the top of his monster pile and moves them on the path. If the boss is on top of the pile, he goes alone and moves along the path.
Every Tower on the path can shoot a monster of the same colour, present in any of the 4 squares surrounding it. Every tower can shoot the boss.
When a monster is hit for the first time, he loses a life point and is turned on its “injured” side. A monster on its “injured” side is captured if it loses another life point. The player places it on his City dashboard and wins 2 crystals.
If at least one Boss has been killed, the game will end when the Night phase is over. Player with the most Victory Points wins the game.
You get Victory Points by saving as much guards as possible, by wounding, or killing the Boss, and by completing challenges.
An event card is revealed. The effect of the new card will be applied during the next round.
Starting with the first player and turning clockwise, every player will play one of the 4 following actions.
Except in the situation where the player chooses the “Draw 2 Cards” action, he can play on card from his hand after having played his initial action.

Headed by a brutal leader, they are coming down the mountain in hordes to raid your city…
Fortunately for you, your city is greatly walled, and a large number of guards are watching over its doors… but how long can they hold if the monsters are camping at the feet of your walls, and attack them every night?
Luckily your workers have mastered the art of building towers. Once in place, they should slow your enemies down, if not destroy them!

Shipping fees will be charged after the Kickstarter campaign during the pledge manager. However, prices will be exactly the same than in the chart below.

Risks and challenges
This is our sixth Kickstarter campaign. Our last Kickstarter (Heroes of Normandie - Tactical Card Game) entered its final pre-production steps and is on time so far. The previous one, Kharnage (set in the same univers than Age of Tower), has been fully delivered in January.
For this Kickstarter campaign, the core box content is almost finalized, and will be ready to be printed before the end of this campaign - all stretch goals and addons are well advanced.
This Kickstarter will be awesome!

Main components of Age of Tower being cards and cardboard tokens and tiles, we know we have a good expertise of this process, thank to our other games. The only part we do not know well are the plastic elements production. But our manufacturer masters the making of this this kind of products, and is really good at it. So we’re really confident with that.
That being said, apart from making sure that the game is properly prepared, and choosing our partners wisely (printers, logistics, etc.), we could still have issues with heavy meteor impact, zombies invasion and other holy armageddons…. This may cause some delay in the delivery date, but rest assured that if this were to happen, we will keep you informed about the situation.
All pledges can be refunded up to 60 days before departure of the games from the manufacturer location, without question.
If the refund is asked more than 15 days after the end of the Kickstarter campaign, penalty fees will be charged.
