ABOUT THE GAME:
We want to create the ultimate, hip-hop, classic 2D platformer! Join Lil Ye as you run, jump and tweet your way through a series of magical worlds full of music, money, friends, foes, fans and ... unicorns.
Its nap time at nursery school, but Lil Ye doesn't want to sleep – there's too many adventures to be had, people to help and gold to collect!
Escape through the wire fence, touch the sky until you can't get much higher, hit the gym, check into the heartbreak hotel, go gorillas in Paris and runaway from monsters! But remember… What don't kill you, can only make you stronger.
Sometimes it feels like the whole world is against you, so make sure you watch out for everyone, including goldiggers, robocops, ghosts and paparazzi!
Help Lil Ye collect gold coins to buy new outfits, upgrades and powerups at the Ye-Store.
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN:
We’re asking for your help to raise a minimum of $20,000 to create a fully playable Lil Ye Land game which, once completed will be available to play, for free on Web, Apple IOS and Android.
The money will go towards creating a minimum of 3 worlds - made up of 3 levels each (9 in total) - with a big boss at the end of each world.
The more money we raise, the more levels, items and awesome features we can add to the game!

ABOUT LIL YE:
Inspired by the music, lyrics, fashion and antics of one particularly special artist, Lil Ye & The Hip Hop Hoorays re-imagines the world of hip-hop in the context of lovable, big, bobble-headed kids
Since 2004 the online illustration project has had international coverage in the press and online, and has been liked and shared by the likes of Kim Kardashian West, Drake, Chance The Rapper, Travis Scott, Logic, Joey Badass, Kyle, Action Bronson, Lil Yachty, Kacy Hill, Bruno Mars and Santigold. It has also led to official collaborations with the likes of Mountain Dew, Fall Out Boy and Quality Control Music.

Ali Graham is a freelance illustrator and animator based in the UK. For over five years he has been creating online projects inspired by the world of music and hip-hop including 99 Problems, Beyonce Vs Zombies and Lil Ye.
He has also worked on projects with the likes of HBO, Mountain Dew, Tumblr, Red Bull, IFC and Hyundai.
(LEAD GAME DESIGNER)
Liam McInroy is a young developer from Wyoming. He has programmed for the last seven years, focusing mostly on Artificial Intelligence research, but in his free time he likes to develop games and other smaller side projects.
This isn't his first game, Liam was also the lead developer of Skwob and has had some experience with miscellaneous freelance game development.
As well as being internationally renowned illustrator, Nina Cosford is also an accomplished pianist, sound technician and composer (especially of 16 bit music)
Risks and challenges
DELIVERING THE GAME:
Creating a fully playable video game from scratch is a new and exciting experience - but also a big challenge. Fortunately the format of the 2D platformer is relatively simple (compared to many other games), and having created a working demo we have already established most of the game's core framework and rules - so expanding on it is merely a question of spending time generating artwork and assets, rather than dealing with unknown technical issues.
I have been running an online shop for my illustration projects for over 4 years, I have experience and preexisting relationships with printers and manufacturers. I have also processed and shipped over 2000 orders, so I am very familiar with postage, packaging and international shipping.
