So, how do we Hunt for Amelia Earhart? This book contains all that is needed to know what happened during the two weeks after Earhart disappeared. The book contains the US Navy report of the Earhart search and is based upon seven unpublished first-person accounts from the men who were there. It's the untold story of the search for Earhart by the US Coast Guard and the US Navy in 1937. The book tells what happened.
Published as an 8½ x 11 book, it consists of 278 pages, with 275 color and sepia-tone illustrations that includes over 100 unpublished photographs plus 65 charts and maps of the search. Produced in levels: Ebook, Softbound, and Hardbound, the book will also be available in a Limited Edition Leather.
On the morning of July 2nd, 1937, Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan disappeared in their Lockheed Electra. The Hunt For Amelia Earhart is the story of the search for Earhart over a quarter of a million square miles of the Pacific ocean, including all twenty-five islands in a 650 mile radius.
Based upon seven unpublished first-person accounts, there are two Memoirs and two Diaries from men who were there, plus three Exclusive Interviews of men who are still living. Read how Radioman Leo Bellarts tried to bring her in, or why Airman Richard Beckham flew over the islands, or what AP Newsman James Carey wrote in his diary during 36 days at sea. They all tell the tale.
I spent six months developing and writing the book and it is ready to print. This book is in full color with high resolution photographs, detailed charts, plus 50 maps from that era. We always print in the USA.

In 22 years I have published 87 titles on America's history. In late 2007 our book sales, outside contracts, and lecture series started to go down. By 2011 we were booking 10% of what we had five years before. Now we believe the recession is easing up as book sales are starting to rise yet we don't have the cash flow to begin press runs. Once I get The Hunt For Amelia Earhart distributed, I will be back on track to publish books again. We won't need a Kickstarter for the next book: Legends of the Flying Clippers.
