MOBO System is a modular mobility system that efficiently, specifically and effortlessly manipulates targeted muscle, joint and fascia dysfunctions in the upper and lower body. MOBO System is compact, light weight, easy to use and extremely versatile. MOBO targets a wide range of dysfunctions through a series of adjustable pressures and textures.
Is it better to have a knife or a Swiss Army Knife? Is it better to waste time hunting for what you need or to have everything at your fingertips? Is it better to have a a trunk FULL of varying density foam rollers and balls or a mobility toolkit with over 40 different tools? MOBO System is the Swiss-Army-Knife, everything-at-your-fingertips, 40-tool-kit of Mobility Therapy.
The problem we discovered was that all the products for mobility and therapy are either a single pressure or a single texture. But, there is no 'one size fits all' in mobility and therapy. MOBO addresses this issue by providing multiple and interchangeable tools in one device. So, before MOBO came along, if you wanted to give your body the best, you had to buy multiple products to meet your multiple mobility needs.
Whoever you are, proper mobility training allows for freedom of movement that improves performance and may decrease pain.
MOBO SYSTEM components are designed to work together in a variety of configurations. MOBO ULTIMO contains the equivalent of 40+ concurrent products, each with multiple iterations. Exchanging Pressure Bands, End Caps, Connectors, Ball Locations and Distances, Rolling Out the Mat, etc. allow you to modify MOBO and quickly target your particular needs.
BALL - Each BALL is constructed of highest-quality, smooth Birch Wood, slightly grooved around the perimeter (for BAND addition) and parallel to a center hole, which allows for easy WAND insertion. Each 2.5” diameter Ball is tumbled, sanded, cherry stained and clear-coat finished with a water, oil and sweat-proof seal. BALLS are part of MOBO UNO, MOBO DUO, MOBO PRIMO and MOBO ULTIMO.
END CAP - Each END CAP has a smooth texture and is constructed of high grade, 50 Durometer Black Silicone. Rapid removal and replacement of each component at each end of the WAND empowers the user to add precise texture and cushioning to dysfunctional areas like the Trap, Pecs, Hip Flexors, Glutes, etc. END CAPS are part of MOBO UNO, MOBO DUO, MOBO PRIMO and MOBO ULTIMO.
ROPE - ROPEs are used in conjunction with BALLS and BANDS to create different mobility options. ROPE construction is Paracord - a lightweight nylon rope. Ends of the cord are melted and crimped to prevent fraying. ROPEs are part of MOBO UNO, MOBO DUO, MOBO PRIMO and MOBO ULTIMO.
BAND (Thin) - Each Thin BAND has a smooth texture and is constructed of high grade, 50 Durometer Black Silicone. Removal and replacement of the BAND on a BALL empowers the user to add the minimal amount of cushioning to the area being mobilized. The Thin BAND allows the BALL to roll freely, as the thickness of the Thin BAND is the depth of the groove carved into each BALL. Thin BANDS are great when used as part of the MOBO UNO System.
BAND (Thick) - Each Thick BAND has a smooth texture and is constructed of high grade, 50 Durometer Black Silicone. Removal and replacement of the BAND on a BALL empowers the user to add the minimal amount of cushioning to the area being mobilized. The Thick BAND allows the user to dig deeper into tissue, as the thickness of the Thick BAND is raised about 5mm above the circumference of the BALL. Thick BANDs are great when used as part of MOBO UNO, DUO, and PRIMO.
BAND (Ribbed) - Each Ribbed BAND has a ridged texture and is constructed of high grade, 50 Durometer Black Silicone. Removal and replacement of the BAND on a BALL empowers the user to add the maximum amount of kneading pressure to the area being mobilized. The Ribbed BAND allows the user to dig deeper into tissue, as the undulations of the Ribbed BAND are raised periodically about 7mm above the circumference of the BALL. Ribbed BANDS are great when used as part of MOBO UNO, DUO, and PRIMO.
WAND Connector Male - Each Male WAND Connector is a precisely honed combination of steel and aluminum, including a quick-release positive locking dual ball pin for graceful removal and insertion into the Female WAND and the Center WAND. Male WAND Connectors are used as part of MOBO DUO and PRIMO.The Male WAND Connector is 108mm long.
WAND Connector Female - Each Female WAND Connector (well, the part is actually hermaphroditic - but that is another story) is a precisely honed combination of steel and aluminum, including a quick-release positive locking dual ball pin for graceful removal and insertion with the Center WAND. Female WAND Connectors are used as part of MOBO DUO and PRIMO.The Female WAND Connector is 125mm long with an internal positive locking pin.
WAND Connector Center - Each Center WAND Connector is a precisely honed piece of aluminum, allowing for a graceful connection with the Female WAND and the Male WAND.The Center WAND Connector is used as part of MOBO PRIMO. The Center WAND Connector is 32.5cm long, 16mm diameter, and has male and female connection sites at either end. TOTAL WAND length with all connectors attached is 40cm.
CARRIER Core - The CARRIER Core is constructed of high-strength, 3mm thick PVC. The Core has small slits which allows easy insertion by the Carrier Mat’s tabs. The Core easily holds a MOBO PRIMO or anything you want to shove in the 4” diameter by 18” long tube.
CARRIER Mat - The CARRIER Mat is made of PVC, which has great cushioning, grip, and durability. The 3mm thick x 72” long mat can be wrapped around the circumference of the 4” Carrier Core approximately four (4) times. Each layer adds a slight adjustment in cushioning.
CARRIER Sleeve - Each CARRIER Sleeve is constructed of high-grade neoprene with a polyester fabric laminated to both sides. Each Sleeve has one of three, full color, eye catching designs with the MOBO Logo on two sides (and if we reach a certain stretch goal, you may be able to add your own custom design on one side). The Sleeve can be used independently as a bag to store MOBO or your belongings or with ROLLO. The CARRIER Sleeve also has a set of webbing handles for stretches and warm-up exercises. The CARRIER Sleeve is removable and washable. The Diameter of MOBO ROLLO - with Core, Mat, and Sleeve - is ~5.5".
CARRY Bag - This is an early Stretch Goal. If we make this goal, then everyone who pledges over $35 will receive a free CARRY Bag, which is perfect for storing all those other important items like food, water, shoes, clothes, etc.
STRETCH BAND - Each STRETCH BAND is black and made of stretchy 1” black rubber. Attaching the Stretch Band to the two (2) Carabiners on the CARRIER Sleeve creates a carrying strap for MOBO ROLLO or ULTIMO. STRETCH BANDS can be used for upper and lower body mobility exercises as well as warm-up, cool down, or full-effort physical exercise.
STRETCH STRAP - Each STRETCH STRAP is black and made of 1” black webbing with loops at various locations for foot or hand insertion. Attaching the Stretch Strap to the two (2) Carabiners on the CARRIER Sleeve creates a carrying strap for MOBO ROLLO or ULTIMO. STRETCH STRAPS can be used for upper and lower body mobility exercises as well as warm-up, stretching, cool down, or full-effort physical exercise. Strap is 72" long with 5 loops
CARABINER - Each CARABINER is made of standard aluminum with a refined design, smooth gate action, a polished finish and is Non-Locking. The CARABINERs can be used in conjunction with the CARRIER Sleeve, the Carry Bag, or independently as a means to attach the STRETCH BAND to other objects to add a point of resistance.
The difference between good mobilization therapy and champion level, professional mobilization therapy lies in the tools and the technique.
Like priming a pump, mobility training primes the body, making it as adaptable as possible for the hard work, intense training or active play that you will put it through. MOBO provides a system of tools that prime your system, preparing you for whatever challenges lie before you.
In order to undo the physical stress of working, training and playing, we have created a series of videos. CP will explain the hows and whys of mobility and show you how MOBO can improve performance and decrease pain.
These are just a few of the many videos that have been produced for MOBO. Additional videos will also be produced in the future. If you would like to see all MOBO videos, please visit MOBO's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE7lI_QTD4Oaaq-YwUj6snw

How does funding work?
Backers of this project will fund production of MOBO products and receive one of several available rewards in exchange. Backers pledge to contribute their money only if we meet the funding goal. We are grateful for every $1 pledged!
We decided to add some stretch goals beyond our Kickstarter funding target. We know that we can make the basic MOBO System with the fund that are allotted in our goal. However, there are a number of additional features that we would love to offer, but we need additional funds in order to fund the manufacturing costs involved. Features, such as different densities, textures, designs, etc. will be voted upon for final options (and some will be given away for free!)
- Locked - $75,000 - We will allow all Backers to vote on which New BAND Density they would like created (Soft or Medium). Whichever Density wins will be added to the ADD-ONS section, where Backers can purchase the new BAND Density Option.
- Locked -$100,000 - We will allow all Backers to vote on which New BAND Texture they would like created (we will submit 2+ Designs). Whichever Texture wins will be added to the ADD-ONS section, where Backers can purchase the new BAND Texture Option.
- Locked -$150,000 - We will manufacture a Small Carry Bag into which you can put your MOBO Tools. The Small Carry Bag will be given for FREE to anyone who makes a pledge for the MOBO UNO and/or anything greater in value.
- Locked -$200,000 - We will allow all Backers to vote on which New END CAP Texture they would like created (we will submit 2+ Designs). Whichever Texture wins will be added to the ADD-ONS section, where Backers can purchase the new END CAP Texture Option.
- Locked -$250,000 - We will allow all Backers to vote on which New CARRIER SLEEVE Design they would like created (we will submit 2+ Designs). Whichever Design wins will be added as an option for those who order a ROLLO or ULTIMO.
Locked -$300,000 - We will design a MOBO Smartphone App, which will allow you to view the MOBO Manual and Videos. The Smartphone App will be available for FREE to anyone who makes a pledge for the MOBO UNO and/or anything greater in value.

Risks and challenges
Parts and Assembly
MOBO System is a complicated project. Every MOBO component is a custom part. There are multiple materials, from wood to metal to rubber to fabric, and therefore multiple manufacturers need to be coordinated. It is definitely challenging, but nothing we haven't done before. We've been investing in good manufacturing relationships for MOBO System; we have a strong team, a reliable supply chain, and we are ready to deliver what we promise. We promise.
Acts of God
Even though we are in Austin, TX, our suppliers are scattered about the US, Mexico and Asia. We figure that the weatherman can neither predict the weather, nor the future - so neither can we. We will do all that we can to avoid fires, floods, union strikes, customs waiting, lane closures, big movie opening weekends and the like - so we're as prepared as we can be. No matter, come hell or high water, we'll get MOBO into your hands so you are free to move and free from pain. We promise.
We're excited at the opportunity to deliver not just a quality product on time, but the first mobility product that does it all. There will be challenges, and unexpected events, but we a will overcome them and stay in communication along the way. We Promise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
