Spinning Wheel's Youth Takeover is a unique opportunity giving us, young people aged 16-23, the chance to produce, fundraise, market, design, project manage and perform in our own production with the guidance of the Spinning Wheel Team.
This rare chance gives us the ability to take full control of every aspect of a project providing a vital, realistic experience of working in the world of theatre.
We spent the winter term devising a new piece of theatre aimed at children and families. This new play is titled 'The Ill-Fated Four: The Cataclysmic Camping Trip' - think Strangers Things meets The Famous Five.
We have now begun rehearsals, the performance date is fast approaching and we need your help!
For the show to go ahead we require funding to cover the costs of costume, venue hire, lighting and sound equipment, props, set and much more.
This is where you come in.
If you are able to support us we would like to thank you with a variety of money-can't-buy gifts and perks (see rewards page).
If you can’t donate then please share our Kickstarter on social media and the more people that know about it the better!
Risks and challenges
As with any production there is a risk of not selling enough tickets however, judging by our past record of successful shows this shouldn't be an issue.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
