I was surprised to see the project/campaign suspended and I would like it to continue.
On the other hand I think it is good to know that Kickstarter keeps an eye on campaigns and does suspend or cancel them, that makes then more trustworthy and keeps the concept going.

As a startup company new to Kickstarter, we had a different understanding regarding the rules on Kickstarter, like how greatly a crowdfunding product should be differ from others to be considered as a new created project. The "MotivBand" doesn't looks like a real project. Here, Kickstarter seems used as a way to sell a lot of watches. It's only a minor software tuning of the Vidonn X6.

Looks like the project got suspended due to the fact that its extremely similar to Vidonn X6. In fact, it looks like an exact replica :(. I could be wrong, but on the design front, I am disappointed after seeing what vidonn X6 looks like on aliexpress website. But somehow I believe I may still fund this project if it was taken out of suspension.

In the email sent to me by @KickStarter, it says this: "A review of the project uncovered evidence that it broke Kickstarter's rules. We may suspend projects when they demonstrate one or more of the following:", and no reason to why it has been suspended follows. So, how is it that this fantastic product gets suspended, when KickStarter can't even say why its being suspended?

Sorry to see this was suspended, as it appears that it was going to be a pretty decent, reasonably viable product. I hope that KS will say exactly why it was suspended, and hopefully work with Wowl Tech to meet all the requirements so we can move forward with this!

Apparently if you have a product and want capital to get an improved product to market then KickStarter is not a viable option? I kind of thought that's what kick starter was for. Wowl seemed to be very open about it when asked. I think I'm quite disappointed with you KS right now.

@Creator - thank you for your update. I think there are lessons to be learned here, including the understanding that the net's reach is global and you should always be clear and open about all aspects of product development history.
I think you should also make a statement about whether the KS video is actually showing people using the Vidonn X6?
Obviously the more detail you can provide as to how MotivBand develops further from Vidonn X6 then the better, including how the hardware packaging/materials has changed (please see points below on screen scratches, visibility and the accuracy of the step counter).
I'm prepared to see how things develop during the remainder of the campaign, your price point is very attractive, and (if I understand correctly?) welcome for example your statement on providing an open API for developers to create new MotivBand apps, as well as Apple Healthkit integration.
I will be expecting you to honour your promises to reveal soon more information about the new development of MotivBand app you are working on, and I would like to be assured that you are addressing some of the issues people have highlighted with the Vidonn X6 including the following from http://eagleburn.org/review-of-the-vidonn-x6/:
"First of all, it has the same problem with the X5 when it comes to screen brightness. The clock digits are almost impossible to see in direct sunlight, which might become a problem if you spend a lot of time outside. Inside, this is no problem at all. I also noticed that the screen gets scratches very easily. I’m not an uncaring user at all, but I already have 3 or 4 visible scratches on the screen, which kind of ruins the good look."
AND "Although I can tell you that the gyro sensor is not the best. Sometimes it just doesn’t measure your steps at all and sometimes it’s a bit too sensitive. If swinging your arm in the air a couple of times, it measures it to be around 100 steps. I would guess that the other fitness measures (for example “calories burned”) is calculated with the steps taken, so the data might not be extremely accurate."

@Creator I'm (currently) a backer, but I have to say I am concerned about the revelation that this looks very much like a recasting of the Vidonn X6 and therefore not in the true spirit of KS. I think you very clearly have to define how the MotivBand is a step change in development of the Vidonn X6 in order to maintain backer confidence - cetainly mine...
Can you please therefore provide a comparison of the feature difference between Vidonn X6 and the MotivBand?

Humm.. I read the debates but I think other guys should reconsider about this product.
From Kickstarter's motive, this is a investing a project, not buying a already-made product.
In my point, all I can do is pledge and root for Wowl tech (I really do!)
Just consider lots of debate as higher expectations of folks.

Alright guys. Let's leave them to their job and we to ours. Those who do not want to continue backing this project please back out. Those that want to remain, please do so. Now that we have more evidence about this project, us backers can make a more solid decision on whether this is a scam or not. Let's not get too heated up about who is right or wrong. The backing community has done its job in safeguarding new and unsuspecting backers against scams and non-trustworthy projects. While on the other hand, the creator has to prove to us that this is not one. So backers, although you guys are awesome and considerate, enough with pointing fingers. Let's just wait and see. The project still has so many days left. Play nice ok? ;)

Wowl Tech, you have failed.
You CLEARLY should have stated in the kickstarter that you have already developed and sold an earlier version of this product, but you were not transparent or forthcoming with this info until the other backers caught you and called you out on it.
You are trying to save face by claiming that this kickstarter is for an improved version of what you have already sold, but I see no physical differences, it is exactly the same appearance as the $32 band that Bojan and Shubhro provided links for below.
Since you were not honest and transparent about your history with the existing $32 sport band that can be purchased right now online, I can only come to the conclusion that this kickstarter is a scam. You are trying to liquidate an abundant supply of mediocre sport bands that China didn't want.
Please everyone look at the links provided below. One of the reviewers of the $32 "first generation" of this band stated that his battery lasted around 2 days, not the 2 weeks Wowl tech would have you believe. Another reviewer mentioned that the band was not particularly accurate. Another mentioned that the bluetooth feature had difficulty with connectivity.
Wowl Tech, stop scamming the Kickstarter community. I am reporting you now.

When I saw that they were offering 2500 Early Bird units, I suspected that something was up and so I read the comments. Glad I did. If anyone else is concerned that this project violates the Kickstarter policy about reselling existing products, you may want to click on the main campaign page and scroll down and click on "Report this project to Kickstarter" and choose "This project breaks one of our Rules" followed by "Resale - Projects cannot offer items that aren't directly produced by the creator." Basically, I would guess that 100% of the buyers did NOT read the comments.

It seems clear that "Wowl Tech" had nothing to do with the design of this product, which is a very important detail you left out of the campaign. I'm close to cancelling my pledge because I have been misled and you have lost my trust. Can you explain why I shouldn't just buy this product from one of the other sites selling it?

Oops just read the DETAILED discussion below....
I guess i still new to learning to identify genuine vs a resell. But giving the team a benefit of doubt, lets assume that they are likely to give a new product, even if it is an upgrade of the Vidonn X6 and price a couple of dollars more than that, it might be fair from a business perspective but some people on Kickstarter maybe looking for more than just an upgrade. At the end of day, atltest we are assured a product (rather than unrealistic fantasies e.g. RITOT).
So each backer has to decide if they want an improvement ( hopefully :) )over an existing smart watch for about $40 (and with better production QC hopefully) or get something in the likes of Pebble Steel for $200.
Let's not dissuade the backers who are happy with the first option since this campaign reaches out to many people who may not shell out hundreds of dollars for expensive alternatives.
