“An ally lost in battle, is an enemy for tomorrow”. All my soldiers know that motto perfectly, they have all lived it. Here, in Stygian, the dead rise to torment us and fight against us all night, without rest… only the light of the Sun seems to keep them at bay. As time goes by, our friends’ and family members’ souls become deformed creatures and monsters. If we don’t defend the city, evil will spread across the world. Since we are born we are taught, we are the wall that must not fall.
My soldiers and I defend the South wall, full of people who are passing through. People who want to make a name for themselves in this city, look for glory and fortune among the rotten blood of the enemies that attack us here, at the foot of the Frozen Helm’s mountain. If they manage to survive at least five years of fighting, the kingdom grants them an honour recognition title. Those pieces of paper are highly desired and recognised in every corner of the world. They are naïve… no paper should be worth as much as their lives, if they didn’t come here out of greed and thirst for recognition, we would have many less enemies. Many less dead.
A few days ago, she who was my predecessor went missing. I’m sure Giruvergan’s Acolytes are behind it. People that worship death, who knows why, and that only wish to see humanity fall. It is rumoured that they are sentient corpses, or that they are simply crazy people who are oblivious of the consequences of their actions. At the moment, I don’t care about that. I only know that, when I find them, they will wish they hadn’t been born and justice will be served.
The undead are decaying bodies devoid of soul that our friends and allies left behind. They are the city’s eternal enemies, but not the only ones…

We are a small indie studio that develops videogames based on decision takingmaking. We want to create an addictive and direct experience that immerses you in the story. As players, we have always wanted to be the main character, not only for the action, but also for the story. That is why we want to base our game on the concept of “Choose your own adventure”.
We are currently in the production phase. That means we have every mechanic, enemy, character and scenery designed already, and we are working on implementing everything into the game. In the following months we will be creating maps, dialogues, quests and items for you all to enjoy during the Alpha and Beta stages. The following roadmap will give you a glimpse of when things will be ready for release:
- August 2018 - Windows/Linux/Mac OS Alpha ('The Sergeant' pledge level or above required).
- December 2018 - Windows/Linux/Mac OS Beta ('The Warrior' pledge level or above required).
- Q1, 2019 - Global release for Windows/Linux/Mac OS/PS4/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch.
Although we are really confident with these dates, please keep in mind that they are subject to change during development.
Most of the money raised in the campaign will be destined to hire the necessary professionals to finish the development of The Tenth Hell: Stygian. Below, you will find a breakdown of the budget for the completion of the game:
Until now, we have financed this project with our own funds. Kickstarter gives us the perfect opportunity to expand our resources and team so we can give you, our public, the game we dream about. For us, it is a catapult that will help us reach players worldwide. It will allow us to use an accessible platform which is easy to use and known worldwide.
In Deimos Studio, we believe that the first thing a videogame company should do is listen to the players. That is why we think that a crowdfunding campaign is a unique opportunity for you to be the ones who judge the game and give us the necessary feedback. Thus, we can improve the game and give it the final touches. With all of this, we can bring the collective intelligence to the project.

BOUNTY HUNTER QUESTS
- 4 GOALS COMPLETED: Creeping Winter, the giant spider. The quest of Creeping Winter will be available for free in the game. A giant spider is killing all the creatures of the Black Lake and making life hell for Thüringer's inhabitants.
- 8 GOALS: The cursed pack. At 8 goals achieved, the quest of The cursed pack will be available. A group of supernatural wolves have developed a superior intelligence and are ambushing people along the way from Thüringer, thus impeding food to get to Stygian.
Risks and challenges
Making a videogame is a tough job, half way between art and engineering. Managing such a big team is complicated and, being our first videogame on the market, we know things are going to get even harder. Developing this videogame is intricate and there are still areas we need to improve and lections we have to learn. Because of that, the team is devoted to the project and each one of us have a specialized role to fulfil.
