About this project

Neutral Zone is a 3D space shooter, played in either first or third person, that puts the player in the role of a spy for the Alliance. Your planet is a new member of the Alliance. To complete entry into the Alliance, a deal has been struck! In exchange for membership, your planet has been asked to select someone for a unique and dangerous mission, a mission that may prove fatal. You have been selected for this task.
You mission, infiltrate the space pirate organization; retrieve valuable information concerning their fleet and strategic defenses. One catch, in order to get their trust, you will have to become a rebel pilot, doing whatever it take to get them to notice you, and hopefully, invite you to join them. Only you and a few trusted commanders within the Alliance will know about your mission, so other alliance pilots might try to blow you to bits, you are on your own.

Risks and challenges
With every project there are challenges and risks that must be dealt with. Though we are a small studio, we are in preparation of an action plan to deal all risks. We want to share our top risks with you so that you are aware of the potential hindrances that may arise during our development cycle:
First issue: device compatibility. Our goal is to put this game in the hands of as many as possible users of the android and iOS devices. With a myriad of mobile devices on the market, testing can become a very large effort. Our target is to support Android 2.3 and up. On the iOS platform, there are space restrictions that we will have to work around without sacrificing the quality of the game.
Next issue: Thorough bug-testing. In the IT industry today, most businesses want quick-to-market projects. With that said, most project teams’ sacrifice testing time for the sake of getting the product to market fast. We want to ensure that we publish a great product. So testing will be an important phase of the project, which will not be compromised.
Next item: Working with external consultants. We have established good relationships with our graphics consultants. However, there is the potential that designs may take more time to complete for various reasons (refinements, complicated designs, etc.). This is a potential issue we must plan for.
