About this project
It started with the desire to make a documentary about the first fighter in combat sport history attempting to make a comeback that was unheard of. Mark "Fight Shark" Miller was re-entering the professional Kick-Boxing ring after a five year hiatus and open heart surgery!
The more we got to know Mark, we found that the fun loving, tattoo sporting gentlemen was truely a walking miracle! Not only had he survived a surgery to correct a congenital heart disease, but he survived an abusive childhood and the countless demons in all their forms that would stand as hurdles in his way to becoming a champion in the ring, as well as in life.
Mark's story pulls back the veil of the harden combat athlete and exposes the very real issues, trials, misteps and fears that not just a fighter, but a man must endure. This an untold piece of American Sports History, and this is something we are working to remedy.
We do not plan to film Mark's documentary in a traditional style. As you may have seen in the preview, and our pitch video, we want to weave a traditional documentary style with intense cinematics as seamlessly as possible so that when the viewers experience this amazing story, not once will they want to look away from the screen.
We are on KickStarter because what we are doing is very new, infact, to the best of our knowledge it hasn't been done before. And it's no secret that new is scary. So through the KickStarter community we are hoping to raise the funding neccessary to make this film as amazing as we know it can be.
If you liked anything you've seen please keep in mind, our videos are the results of TWO guys, ONE week and ZERO dollars. With the support of the community, even if it's just spreading the word or sharing the link, we hope to reach our financial goal.
With the proper funding and right team behind us, we are hell-bent on turning a documentary into a work of art and cement Mark's story into a piece of history.
If you've read up to this point, we thank you so much.
