Greetings, Pledgers !

The Dodo is flapping his feathers in excitement today – the first copies of our debut novel, Dodge and Burn by Seraphina Madsen, have arrived fresh from the printers, ready for the official release date on July 28.

We’ve already had some great comments from authors such as James Miller, Emma-Jane Unsworth and Lee Rourke, and we can’t wait to see what the wider world thinks. For those who selected Dodge and Burn as their reward, we will be posting books out this week - we hope you enjoy them!

The official launch party for Dodge and Burn will be taking place at Tamesis Dock, on the Albert Embankment in London on July 21, from 6.30. For northern types, there will be an event at Blackwell’s in Manchester on August 25 – we’ll keep updating the Dodo Ink website and Twitter account with details, and we hope to see you at an event soon!

In other news, the Dodo team has expanded again, with Jessica Ballance and Jasmin Kirkbride joining us. Wood Green will be going to print next, followed by The Eleventh Letter.. Wood Green has already been receiving rave reviews in Australia, or so the Dodo’s sources down under tell us.

Dodo Ink is really starting to take wing and fly now, and we couldn’t have done any of it without your support. Keep in touch, and let us know what you think of Dodge and Burn once you’ve finished it.

All the very best,

Sam, Alex, Thom & the Dodo xxx
