The inspiration: The Ultimate player's days of losing discs and sitting on the wet grass are over. The Hucket provides 6-gallons of room to transport discs, cleats, and jerseys for hectic weekend tournaments and is topped with a padded seat for any down time.
Ultimate players have individually started using buckets to store their Ultimate gear. Even though we noticed that such individual creativity is always met with comments like, "That's perfect for Ultimate player's," and "Great Idea!", not everyone has the time or the ingenuity to construct their own sporting equipment. This is where the Hucket comes in.
*Remember: As with all Kickstarter projects, if you pledge money and we don't reach our funding goal, then your account is not charged.
The Name: Ultimate player's have been hucking discs (throwing deep) since Ultimate came into being. The inspiration for the name comes from Ultimate-specific terminology and a desire to capture the grassroots spirit of the game.
The design is simple. The Hucket is comprised of a six-gallon bucket with a circumference perfectly suited to the 175g Ultimate Disc. Instead of a metal painter's handle, an ergonomic vinyl strap connects to two clasps on either side of the lid. The strap clips are fully-rotating to avoid any tangling or discomfort. The bucket spout lid used by paint manufacturers has been replaced with a removable lid fitted with a foam padded seat. The Hucket can do it all on a long weekend, carrying all of your Ultimate and overnight necessities.
The logo and design are already completed so we are raising funds for the startup costs and production of the first round of Hucket Buckets. First, the a line of buckets will be printed with the Hucket logo. The padded lid and vinyl strap will be produced by a separate manufacturer and shipped to the bucket printer for final assembly. Printing a line of buckets usually requires a minimum quantity of at least 2,500 buckets, a quantity I will not be able to produce without your help.
Even though the logo is finalized, there are still two possible color schemes for the final logo design:
The first option has light blue lettering and shadowing while the second option has a navy background complemented by white lettering.
Supporting me at the $1-tier will allow you to give your input on the final color design of the logo.

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge the project faces are shipping costs. Shipping 6 gallons of air isn't cheap, but after the startup costs are covered and the first line of buckets have been produced, sales will take place primarily at tournaments minimizing the extra shipping costs.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
