William and Al, everything is still moving forward and Bayden is correct. We did compile an update in March and I'll link it here for your convenience:
They have already said that the next expected delivery date is August of 2018. They have also said they will update your order when the shipping date gets closer so your phone won’t be “obsolete”.
Have seen NO updates in Months. Is this project still in progress? Will I receive a case before my phone becomes obsolete?

We were invited to showcase our prototypes at the Stanford Cool Product Expo. In order to help boost our social media engagement, we structured a small giveaway with 10 custom Stanford/CXC power banks. These are not our proprietary batteries, and they do not have the magnetic X on the back. We ordered them as promo items from Flashbay. So I see at Stanford you have limited edition power banks..funny how those people will have items we ordered MONTHS before we see anything. Clearly manufacturing is happening so I believe we deserve an update
I misread your initial message so wanted to update my comment here on this public thread to clear up any confusion. The iPhone 6+/7+/8+ models all fit one case....as do the iPhone 6/7/8 so there is no need to make an update on your order. We will reach out to everyone to reconfirm their orders in case of anymore upgrades.

I'm really happy you brought this up. We feel that its something that is missing from our narrative and crowdfunding campaign because of Kickstarter's rules against promoting philanthropic efforts. We're excited to tell you we're currently in contact with the San Diego County Commission to partner with the city to fight human trafficking. We'll certainly make sure you're included in our accomplishments!
I have not backed any product via Kickstarter or any other platform for that matter before. To be honest, I didn’t back them as much for the case, although I am very interested, as I did because they support the effort to stop human trafficking. Even if it’s a small portion, it’s something and they are helping to raise awareness.
By backing this project I suspected there could be a chance that my initial investment may be lost. My understanding of this and even the stock market is sometimes you do well and other times... well, let’s not think negative.
The thought of bailing or asking for a refund have been there, however, I decided to ride it out. When the case gets here it gets here. I don’t mean to sound like I don’t care about the money because I do. I’m just choosing to optimistic and hoping I’m right.
We have a great design team and it went as planned. The updated design has changed EVERYTHING for the better!

You were not placed at gunpoint to make this backer and in fact you probably should have done a little more research on start-up products. If you knew anything about business, then you would understand some of the constraints and hickups they might be challenged with. People like Ty and Crystal are from the ground up and they unfortunately are faced with these circumstances. If you are worried about an $80 order. Shoot I’ll give you your money back.
For those who are skeptical about this product and validity of its true intent will not be disappointed when this hits US before the market. Ty is a true innovator, honest and forthcoming individual. Please refrain from jumping then gun, due to the company making the best product and external factors that they had no control over. I have seen some of the prototypes for this innovation and was impressed with the start-up product(s). I for one am excited and the anticipation is killing me. However, WE all will not be disappointed and neither will this future market. It is and will truly take over this industry. PLEASE, hang in there!!! Not all consumers or backers will have new phones specifically for these projected cases, that is a choice that one makes a cannot fault the company for the choices we make as phone enthusiasts.

I understand that you are waiting for some information from your vendors, but more candidness and transparency would be great.
You guys did not deliver on the December deadline, and have yet to even give backers a ballpark date for fulfillment. You have also offered to “reconfirm” orders for those of us, myself included, who have upgraded phones since the project funded. It hasn’t been mentioned yet, but will this cause more delays?
You don't owe us an apology and we appreciate the forethought from an experienced Kickstarter backer. This however is our first Kickstarter campaign and first start-up. We have been steered wrong from the beginning by companies in the crowdfunding world looking to take advantage of our backers money. We have overcome some major pitfalls to ensure we will deliver and we will not be another campaign that goes unfulfilled. We don't want to start the reconfirming process too early because that will put us in the same position again when we ship. We will be contacting everyone through individual messenger to make sure their phone has not been upgraded since their survey was completed.
Yes, we have an Indiegogo campaign to continue to drive revenue while we are in production. Your request to have an investor brief is noted and we promise to have a very detailed update for you that will outline the delays up until this point and a timeline moving forward. There are a few answers that we are waiting for ourselves before releasing a detailed update because we want to provide ALL necessary info to eradicate all doubts. We can assure you that as anxious and frustrated as you are, that is only magnified 1000x from our standpoint. This project has consumed two years of our lives to develop, and nobody wants you to have our case more than we do. Sorry for venting but this is the most frustrated I have been backing a Kickstarter. The problem I see forth coming with having to reconfirm is that the last process took over 40 days to reach everyone. Why not start that process before you are ready to ship as to not delay that any further (like this week)? I have been an avid Kickstarter backer and I realize delays occur. The difference between other delays and yours is the amount of communication on what was going on behind the scenes. You have been putting together a "more concrete update" since 22Feb. We are all "investors" of this product and we are definitely not being treated as such. I feel this will be 6 months late on a product that is almost treated as a consumable by most consumers. This is like the equivalent of being told we were going to receive a new Winter coat in the Fall but not receiving it until the Spring. Are you having problems with manufacturing? shipping? funds? I see you did an Ingiegogo campaign as well with a delivery date of March 2018 to raise more money. Please be more transparent in your process and have more frequent updates!! Thanks!!

Bethany brought up cross promotions as well which are other companies that promote our products in exchange for promoting theirs. There is no money or kickback for us in any way shape or form. We will have a full update to you shortly explaining exactly what has caused our delay, and the steps that we are going through until your case arrives at your door. In the meantime, we didn't want to be silent with updates so we have shared information regarding CES and wireless charging along the way.

As anxious as you are to receive the case, you can't imagine how anxious we are to get it out there to our backers. Regarding the promotions, these companies cross promote us as well and due to the frustration that this is causing our backers, we will be reevaluating any type of promotions. So it really looks like people are getting frustrated as am I. By the time I get this thing the new iPhones will be out and my case will be useless. WTF!?¿!? Your companies kickstarter updates are pretty much useless and just advertisements for other kickstarter campaigns. How much are you getting paid for those ads? Are we going to see a kickback for your ad revenue and the amount of time we have had to wait??? At this point you should be updating us with actual content on your true status with this thing. I couldn’t care less about CES in your last “update.” We have already been sold in the thing. How about some REAL information....
Where can I see what I ordered? I am in the market for a new phone now, and if what I ordered no longer works? this has been a big 'ole waste of money for me. You're 2 months past due for shipping, which is super disappointing - I was really excited for this. Who can we contact so we can actually use the product once we receive it?
By the time I get this case I’ll be considering a new phone. It looks like a lot of people who are backers have already gotten new phones, from the request to modify their orders.
