The Martian Wave started out as an e-zine with ProMart Writing Lab. When ProMart publisher James Baker passed away, the zine moved to Sam's Dot Publishing and continued as an on-line zine for many years. Eventually, The Martian Wave editor, J Alan Erwine, decided to turn the zine into a print zine focusing on science fiction stories that center around the exploration of space, with special emphasis on our solar system.
Now that J has left Sam's Dot, he has brought the zine to Nomadic Delirium Press with him.
This issue will feature such talents as James McDonnell, Robert E. Porter, Glen R. Stripling, GC Rosenquist, John Grey, Francis W. Alexander, and many more, including cover art from Laura Givens.
Money raised will go towards paying contributors, paying production costs, and promotion. Any extra money raised will go towards even more promotion.
Risks and challenges
Other than funding, there really aren't any challenges towards our completing this project. I've been editing The Martian Wave for over a decade, both on-line and in print, so it will not be difficult to get this issue to press.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
