What was once an overgrown area covered in weeds and piles of garbage is now a blossoming kind of sanctuary in Spring--a beautiful, peaceful little spot. The amazing Diana H. Jackson created "The Wild Place," a welcome space for the weary traveler or passerby, near the Peter Pan bus terminal in Providence. Over the years, Diana has brought the community together to transform the area, and people often leave notes of gratitude. We would like to add a string of origami cranes at the entrance and place more cranes about, adding another dimension to The Wild Place and making it even more lovely, open to any and all passing guests. We would like to purchase "Washi Style Origami Paper, 120 sheets," ($9.96) and, if we go over our Kickstarter goal, buy more paper for cranes for The Wild Place with that money. Thank you for your consideration!
Risks and challenges
Providence weather is quite fickle, but Diana will ensure that the cranes are safe and dry since she often visits The Wild Place to ensure things are in good shape!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
