Mega update on all things and some pretty pictures to boot!

Hello folks,

Sorry for not getting you an update sooner, I have been waiting for some info in order to give you as complete an update as possible.

We are behind our initial schedule of shipping in August. This is partly due to delays in getting the model designed finalised for production i.e. getting them in a few a parts as possible but still being able to cast them effectively. However, the primary delay has been caused by the team having to create its own bespoke pledge manager. Most of this unforeseen burden fell on Rene’s shoulders. He, however, is also responsible for the layout and graphics for the rulebook, Making of AoT booklet and the faction decks. Therefore the time taken to create the bespoke pledge manager has directly delayed the completion of the print ready files of these articles. This amounts to approximately a 4 week delay to the schedule.

I am glad to report however, that the model production side of the project is progressing nicely, it is the printed product that will ultimately determine when exactly goods will ship, and the models will be ready to go when they arrive in the factory.

Here’s where we are:

Layout: first draft of the layout is now under revision, should have 2nd iteration by end of next week, then there will be a final edit with a view to sending it to the printers by the 19th at the latest along with the “Making of AoT” booklet and the faction decks. This should give us those products in the factory by early October.

3D printing: 75% of the models are now processed and are ready for printing, Syntha models are being processed now. Junkers and Viridians have now been printed. VASA will follow next week, Syntha will follow after that.

Casting: resin and metal casting will starting the 2nd week of September. I’ll update weekly from now on as we are now in the last furlong of the project.

For your delectation here are some of the 3D prints that are now being moulded, checkout those Sandrunners!!!!

I am hoping that the 4 feeds from the feet will do the trick and fill the model, however will will probably have to cut more feeds, to the head where there's the blade on the jaw, the tail and maybe one to the centre of the body.

Those sandrunners are insane. I didn't think you'd manage to get the legs that thin.
