This is just a quick update to say that:
1. We unlocked the trip line trap last night which I'm really looking forward to playing around with.
2. I actually missed the £96 Stretch goal off my rundown the other day, I want to talk about it this here as it explains a few more mechanics & tweaks that i feel the game will benefit from.
So at £96k we have a crafting set of a Y Branch & Elastic which can be combined with the existing "shrapnel" card to craft a makeshift slingshot. I often find myself reluctant to use the shrapnel to make bombs as it also requires sacrificing some ammunition so the slingshot will offer an alternative use (and save even more ammo).
The Slingshot is not particularly powerful (7-8 kill & no knockdown chance) but in the right hands it can still be very useful. For example, if your hero has the "hitman" perk which allows them to perform a ranged automatic kill (for all 4 of their action points) as this is a "no-roll kill" the usually under powered slingshot is just as deadly as anything else without using up precious bullets. Likewise, the "smile" ballistic perk which allows a ranged execution can also be performed with the slingshot.
Makeshift ranged weapons (slingshot & bow) do not use ammunition & can only be fired with a 2AP aimed shot, making them slow to use. As with other crafted (melee) weapons they will only last until the end of the mission & then they are discarded.
