WORK MUSIC is Coming February 26th!
We have finished our new album, "Work Music," and to prepare for our February 26th release date, we want to make 1,000 copies to spread it to the four corners of the globe.
8090 is the Chicago-based hip hop duo of Seth Williams and Andy Metz and we are incredibly proud of our new album! We know that it will resonate with all of you working folk and we can't wait for you to hear it!
As independent artists, we'd love to have your support in allowing us to have enough physical copies of this album to send to independent record stores, album reviewers, and of course, YOU, our fans! After much contemplating, we believe we need 1,000 copies of "Work Music" (it's also the most cost-efficient number)! For that, we've calculated that we need to raise $1,147. No more, no less.
ABOUT WORK MUSIC
"Work Music" is all about the trials and tribulations of the 9-to-5 grind. It's 14 tracks that cover every aspect of your work day from the menial to the meaningful. We hope you'll rock out to "Work Music" on your way to and from your place of employment. If you love your job, let "Work Music" be your soundtrack. If you hate your job, let "Work Music" be your diary. You put in work, so we did too.
Thank you so much for your support! With your help, we can bring our music to the people!

Risks and challenges
Our greatest challenge will be to make sure we can turn these physical CDs into greater exposure for our "Work Music" message. If you know of album reviewers or music blogs that we should send our album to, please let us know!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
