Legendary Hip Hop artist EDO.G has joined forces with Music Industry Veteran Jamieson Grillo to form 5TH & UNION. Their first release is EDO.G's 11th Studio album "After All These Years" slated to come out in July, 2014. The album features production by Pete Rock, 9th Wonder & Explicit One. Guest appearances by Chuck D of Public Enemy, Camp Lo, Guilty Simpson and more.
This album will be released independently on CD in a Eco-friendly Digipak and Colored Double Vinyl LP (Limited to 500 piece pressing). EDO.G will also be putting out his first book entitled EDO.G's TOP 10 VERSES to coincide with the release of his new album. The book goes into great detail on the writing process of an Emcee starting with ED O.G and DA BULLDOGS first album "Life of a Kid in the Ghetto" to his most recent album. Lyrics from classic songs such as "I Got to Have it", "Be a Father To Your Child", "Love Comes and Goes", "Situations" and others you may have never heard before. 2014 also marks the 10th Anniversary of EDO.G and Pete Rock's underground classic "My Own Worst Enemy". For the first time this album will be reissued on a gold foiled colored cassette (limited to a 100 piece pressing). For Kickstarter supporters of this project we are offering an exclusive EDO.G T-Shirt as well in the rewards section.
We need your support to help make this project possible. The album is almost completed but without your funding we won't be able to release it this July. The funding of this project goes toward mixing and mastering, producer fees, graphic artwork fees, manufacturing the CD & limited edition colored double vinyl LP along with the EDO.G's TOP 10 VERSES book, the 10th Anniversary EDO.G & PETE ROCK "My Own Worst Enemy" Cassette and Limited edition EDO.G T-Shirt.

Risks and challenges
The only obstacle we would encounter would be delays at CD or Vinyl pressing plants in manufacturing and shipping the final completed album. We have allotted enough time just in case we have any delays.
