The base goal only covers the initial 8 character roster and 6 VR stages. Currently there are 5 characters already near-complete and 4 stages. Essentially over the half of the game has been completed, and I took the plunge to create this game nearly 2 years ago - there's no way I'd stop at this point.
The game is being developed at home by essentially 1 person and some freelance help, so the "overhead" cost is incredibly low. 30K will cover the cost of music licensing and freelance help, and leave me with enough breathing room to finish up the remaining roster and stages, along with adding some polish to the UI and online modes.
From there I can get the game released on PC/Steam and continue to add content if it makes economic sense to continue.
