About this project
Hello Friends, Family, and Fans of good music!
I am working on the release of my second album, titled ‘The Keeper’. I recorded this album in early November, 2011, at Emerson College in Boston. It contains eight original compositions and three arrangements written over the past two years - inspired by wonderful people I have known, things I respect and artwork that I admire. I was so fortunate to collaborate with incredibly talented musicians on this project – Takeshi Ohbayaski on piano, Max Moran on bass, Mark Whitfield Jr. on drums, and Darren Barrett on trumpet - all of them friends I have met while studying at Berklee College of Music. I am so lucky to have been surrounded by creative and inspiring teachers and peers. My respect for their talents and my gratitude for their involvement are tremendous.
Music is about sharing and spreading joy to the community of the world. A quote that has always stuck with me is, “You can’t keep it unless you give it away”, shared by my teacher in Oregon, Thara Memory. I am a firm believer in the power of music and its ability to impact social change worldwide. I am very excited to share this music, but it can’t be brought to life without your support – dear friends, family, and music lovers everywhere.
In return for your pledge, I promise to give back in return - and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity. You can choose to participate in a variety of ways – from advanced digital downloads to private house concerts. Any and all levels of support are greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your consideration. I hope to be sharing this music with the world very soon.
P.S. If you donate from outside the U.S. and would consider adding a little bit extra to cover shipping costs, it would be doubly-helpful! Thank you.
