Meet Jonathan & Sarah Jean, Actors & Producers
You can’t be what you can’t see, which is why Jonathan Nathaniel and Sarah Jean Hodkinson are fueled to change the game. They are fearless in making their dreams come true, and determined to create a new type of role model in an often homogenous industry.
Jonathan is a television and film actor, and personality on MTV Canada/Logo TV USA’s sleeper hit and NewNowNext Award nominated 1 Girl 5 Gays where he and 4 other ‘out’ Torontonians answer ‘20 Questions about Love and Sex’ on a rotating panel every Friday night. He’s also made appearances on TBS' Lovebites.
Sarah Jean is an actor, dancer, and producer, and a graduate of the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in Toronto. She has performed in numerous plays, music theatre, television, film, and commercials, and worked with top choreographers and dance companies in the city, including Lindsay Ritter's dance company LR Productions and Carla Catherwood’s Nuvo Burlesque team.
Together, Jonathan and Sarah Jean co-produced and co-starred in 3 short films, Eggs, Shawn and Whiskey. Their first film, Eggs, screened as the opening for Local Heroes at the Inside Out LGBT Film Festival for the TIFF Bell Light Box this past May. These two are a dynamic force, all about doing things differently and making it happen!
Here’s a quick hello from Jonathan, plus a preview of the pair in action with Eggs :)
