∆'s FACEBOOK : The best way to stay updated on COSMIC VILL∆GE!
COSMIC VILL∆GE is an independent feature film/visual album and the collaboration of visual artist and filmmaker Jacob Williams and electronic musician KWALA (Josh Gasaway). It follows a man who falls deep into the mysteries of the world as he searches for the girl taken away from him by the Cosmos. The film is an attempt to blur the lines of experimental and traditional cinema, creating something that's never been seen before.
SYNOPSIS: One random night in October the Cosmos performed their rare tradition of choosing a sacrifice. They chose Marla. Now a young man ventures through time and space to find her. But before he can, he finds a small village deep in the forest of another dimension where he comes in contact with a demonic figure puppeted by the Cosmos.
Filming will take place from June through December and will be filmed in multiple places and settings from urban cities to snow capped mountains.
There are a few financial problems though. The first is the literal "Cosmic Village", a place hidden deep in between space and time. The village thrived at some point but is now burnt and torn to rubble except for two pyramids and a tipi that stands in the back of the village. While we will be building everything ourselves, we just don't have the money to buy the large amount of materials and tools needed to get it done.
Second, nearly a third of the film takes place underwater... and we don't have an underwater housing. If any of you have looked into those, then you know how costly they can be.
Third, Some time in 2012 the film will be finished and we'll start sending it to major film festivals around the world (which costs lots of money), but right now lets focus on getting it made!
I hope anyone who can help us out does! You will have our never ending gratitude! Thank you and spread the word of COSMIC VILL∆GE!
