On Monday, April 15, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel attended a roundtable discussion about Seed Chicago projects, including Logan Square Impressions. archi-treasures’ Executive Director, Joyce Fernandes, attended to discuss how our Kickstarter project has benefited from being part of Chicago’s official curated Kickstarter page. In addition, Joyce wrote about Logan Sqaure Impression’s plan and how crowdfunding can be used for creative social progress on GOOD.is for the Push for Good. Our project has also been added to the official GOOD curated Kickstarter page.

Great news! Logan Square Impressions has been selected to Seed Chicago, the city’s new curated Kickstarter page for projects specifically focusing on job creation and growth in Chicago’s neighborhoods. A major benefit to being selected to Seed Chicago is our project will receive increased exposure, increasing our ability to meet our funding goal. Seed Chicago is a direct result of Chicago’s Plan for Economic Growth and Job’s strategy to nurture neighborhoods and foster continuous development of a variety of talents and assets. The Plan was developed by World Business Chicago at the request of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel last year in order to accelerate Chicago’s economic growth. We are excited to be one of eleven projects featured on Seed Chicago.
