Why are we doing this?
Thanks to you, our Kickstarter campaigns have all been amazing successes! Now we are providing an opportunity for you to get High Impact Plastic Styrene (HIPS) bases for all of your Bones miniatures! Even the big ones!!!
We haven’t even scratched the surface on creating bases for you. We have all sorts of options and ideas cooking for new bases. In fact building a house out of styrene bases is on our list! (Not really, in fact we don't even have a list of what to do with all of them yet. It's just too mind boggling)
HIPS bases are really expensive to produce, and we still need your help to create them. We have already released several smaller sizes and the reception has been incredible. Your support makes the molds that we need to produce the bases, and in exchange you get the first crack at these bases for a fantastic deal!
For the first time, we're able to make the rewards for this project in the USA, at our factory in Texas! Your support of this project and others will mean that not only can these rewards be made in the USA, but we'll be better positioned to make more and more of our inventory ourselves!
What Can I Do With All Of My Bases?
Man, we can't think of everything but if you have an idea, email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Here are just a few things you could do with all of your bases:
-Tile your bathroom
-Bring back Pog
-Play base Blind Man's Bluff
-Use them as poker chips
-Cover your neighbors car with them
-Mount the most awesome figure you have ever painted on the most incredible base ever produced
-Make an engagement ring and get married
-Create assorted jewelry and hit a gaming convention
-Pave a road
-Fill your friend's swimming pool
-Trade them with friends
-Perfect gift for that favorite mother-in-law
Anyway, you get the idea and all we need is your support!

Risks and challenges
We are in the final stage of Bones 3 and it is still unfulfilled. For more information and updates please checkout our Bones 3 Kickstarter.
What are the risks and challenges that come with completing your project, and how are you qualified to overcome them?
For a project like ours, the risks and challenges fall into three categories:
1) Overall Non-completion
2) Delays in meeting our estimated delivery dates
3) We do not produce a specific base or change a specific base.
Concerning the risk of Overall Non-completion: we've already completed two massive Kickstarters and are fully aware of the pitfalls. Since we are making these in our factory in in Texas the risk of lost shipments due to pirates, labor strikes at import harbors and acts of God on the open seas are pretty minimal .
We learned a lot during our two Kickstarters. However, delays are simply part of the cycle of business and it is our wisdom, training, and experience that would help us mitigate and work through any delay.
Lastly there is the risk we will not produce a specific base shown. This will only occur if there is not enough interest in a specific base measured by the number of backers that actually pledge for to buy it versus the cost to produce it. This event did not occur in either of our previous Kickstarters, but is nonetheless still a risk. In the event this situation develops we will issue a refund or credit depending on your desire for the buy-in pledge amount of the model.
We reserve the right to modify pieces shown to meet production requirements.
In summary we have the knowledge, wisdom and know-how to prevent, solve, and work through just about any problem that we will face and will do everything possible to make this an exciting and enjoyable event.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
