Success!!!!!

Hello Backers-

From all of us here at the Into the Woods team, thank you thank you thank you for your generosity.  We not only made our goal, but we went 21 percent over it!

You all are truly amazing.  We will send out information about performances and tickets soon, and expect an email this week from us so you can collect your reward!!

Also, just because the fundraising is over doesn't mean you're out of the loop.  We will be posting updates to this project so you can get a behind-the scenes look into how the production is shaping up.

You can also "Like" our Facebook page:

www.facebook.com/GPIntotheWoods

so that you can see your name up as a backer, and so you can see the updates that we will post there as well.  The updates that you'll recieve via Kickstarter will just come from one source - Kevin Horne - whereas on Facebook there will be updates form the cast, and conversations to follow.  So please join the fun and the conversation and see what you've gotten yourself into :)

Thanks again.  You have made 2012 get off to a fantastic start.

Into the Woods Podcast

Hello Backers!

Two things, as we head into the third day of the year.

Firstly, our show is featured in a weekly theatre podcast.  Our very own Kevin Horne and Joshua David Bishop are interviewed about Into the Woods. You can listen to it  directly, or download it and put in on your music machine to listen to at your lesisure. Our thanks to Robert Gonyo at Go See a Show!  The podcast can be found here:

http://goseeashowpodcast.com/2012/01/03/into-the-woods-a-fundraiser-for-the-sylvia-center/

And secondly, we're almost at $7500!  Thanks for your donations, and as we head into the final 24 hours, please continue to help spread the word!

Thanks,

The Into the Woods Team

Two days to go!!

Happy New Year, Backers!

We have just about two days to go, and we are already within reach of our goal.  As of this writing we have just $3600 to go... and it's all thanks to you.

All of you have given during the holiday season, and we couldn't be more grateful. As we enter the final stretch, please help us with this last push - tell co-workers you haven't seen over the holidays, please tell family and new friends you've made.  We also hear the we have "angels" waiting in the wings - people who are waiting to donate until the very end of the campaign to take us all the way to our goal.  If you know of these people, please let them know that now is their moment!

It's a great show, a great cause, and all thanks to you!

Wishing you a fabulous 2012,

The Into the Woods team

Happy Holidays!!!

Hello Backers-

Late last night we passed the $2000 mark, and just this morning we're well on our way to $2500!! ...all thanks to you!! Most of you are close to someone involved in the production - you're a friend, a co-worker, a family member of one of us on the Into the Woods team. It's these personal connections that will get this project fully funded and allow us to put on the show. Your fellow Backers are in New York, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Hawaii, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah... we're not just fundraising; we're building a community of friends who share a common vision.

You're an integral part of this community - you've literally put your money where your mouth is. So please help us now make our community of Backers larger. Help spread the word about our project - and use your personal connections to do it. Friends and family abound this time of year; people who haven't spoken in months take the time to reach out and catch up. Talk to them. Let them know what you're involved in. Get them involved, too. People are much more likely to donate when they know and trust someone who already has. Send friends and family whom you think would be interested in donating to our project our way. We'd love to welcome them to our community.

Let them know that they can donate as little as a dollar, and as much as they want. And all proceeds will go to The Sylvia Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, which runs food education programs for needy kids in New York City. Some of these children have never been out of the neighborhood they were born in. For many, fast food is a major staple of their diet. Some can't identify common vegetables like cauliflower - they've never even seen it. Becoming a Backer will not only make the show possible, but your donations will also do good by helping to bring food education to the Sylvia Center's roster of children.

A very happy Holiday season to you and yours. And thanks so much for your support.
