Books are ordered and on their way!

Posted by Marion McNealy (Creator)

Since I received the proof on Wednesday, the corrections to it were made, and the new file uploaded to the printers. That file got approved late Thursday night, and Friday morning I began the process of placing 240+ individual orders to send each book directly to you. If you've ever wanted to be your bank's fraud department nightmare, try putting through this many transactions in three days. Even though they had advance notice, and a note in the system, I still got to spend quality time on the phone with them explaining the whole thing. *sigh*

Here are the estimated arrival times from the printer, although it is likely that you will get your book faster than this!

  • Australia - Feb 15 to March 1
  • New Zealand - Feb 15 to March 1
  • Canada -  Jan 15 to Feb 1
  • Europe (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Cyprus, France, Norway, Netherlands, Spain) -  Jan 15 to Feb 1
  • United Kingdom - Jan 15 to Feb 1
  • Rwanda - Feb 15 to March 9
  • All US States - Jan 15 to Jan 30

There are a few who have not yet put in their address. If you are one of these, please enter it in so I can order your book. However, there will be a slight delay in ordering it, as I'm headed off to the hospital tomorrow morning to have a baby and will not be dealing with book details until next week at the earliest.

The book will be available for sale on Amazon at the end of January, beginning on February, after the books have been delivered to the majority of the backers. I'll send out an announcement when it is,   as I know that there are some people who missed the kickstarter and wanted the book.

The project is finished now. It's been an adventure, and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to do it. Thanks so much for believing in this project, and backing my dream!

So excited about "both your babies". While you cuddle up with your new addition, we will all be cuddled up with your other labor of love! Remember to take all the time in the world with this new life. They grow so fast and before you know it they are adults! Thanks!

Marion, you are a trooper! And honestly anyone who didn't get their orders in can wait a bit - a week post-partum is (needlessly) heroic!
