set back but determined

Sadly friends this kickstarter project has failed, but I shall try again.  I learned a lot and will be working on a better presentation for next time.  Some of my darling editors have forgone pay and started anyways and I have started making some more interesting rewards for next time.

I you could please answer a couple of questions to help me improve my next project.

1. What rewards did you find most compelling, and which do you think where least compelling?

2. Did you watch the video and if so what did you think of it?

3. Did you choose how much to donate based on what reward you wanted or did you choose the reward based on how much you wanted to spend supporting the project?

4. If all of the summary, rewards descriptions, ect, was written in lolspeak would you consider it an improvement or not?

5. Do you have any other suggestions?

Maybe if someone pledges and provides a picture of their cat you can offer a reward of them receiving a post card (not sure if the original reward was electronic form or not) with their cat (or some other one) quoting one of the catlolz shakespear lines! Higher pledge = more postcards. Also making the rewards cumulative if possible helps sometimes to. (e.g. $15 gets you complete works electronic form and a postcard!). Sometimes it helps to add some kind of physical reward that people can receive in the mail. There's just something nice and special about getting a package or letter from a project. You can also offer unique things that may not be a result of the project, but can be given as rewards and are related (i.e. unique cat figurines (maybe find an artist craftsman to make a unique lolcat figurine), a little booklet of famous cat memes, a Nyan cat t-shirt, lolspeak shakespeare cat t-shirt, other meme cat t-shirt, etc). The ideas are truly endless. I'm sure people would like to have copies of the finished works (whether in physical or electronic form) but sometimes they also like little nik-naks related to the project. A shakespeare lolcat bookmark, or keychain. you can offer a keychain at $5, they don't cost too much to order custom made and it can be included on all higher pledges. the more you order in bulk the cheaper they are to order. Here's one site as a suggestion: http://www.zazzle.com/custom/keychains . Do a bit of research, take into account cost and everything and I'm sure you can think of all kinds of things to help get the project going.
I thought the video was fine and I liked the idea of getting the completed work in an electronic form so I could read and laugh at the hilariousness. ^_^

Sometimes it's the accumulation of smaller pledges for simple things that really help a project succeed
