Forged Realms is an intense simultaneous tactical dueling card game that plays in about 10 minutes
Each player builds an army and then has only 5 turns to try and drive your opponent from the battle field using tactics, scouting, speed, flanking, and combat. With low starting Health (which also counts as your army's moral), you must be careful because every point counts on your way to victory

For such a fast game it still boasts a huge amount of strategy and game theme
- Draw, deploy, engage, flank, cast spells, etc.. ALL at the same time
- Only 2 card types, every card is either a Creature or a Spell
- No resource cards
- Every card is playable from turn 1
- Only 5 turns in a game, every decision counts
- Fast combat
- Set up for combos, flanking, spells, etc, all in secret
- Then see how your strategy unfolds vs your opponent's strategy
Both sets are stand-alone and different from each other.
If you are getting one set, you can pick either one of the two and begin playing immediately. Each set comes with 110 cards including: 80x Creatures/Spells, 20x tokens, 2x life counters, 6x gems and 2x reference cards. Each set has a different set of tokens depending on the army/factions played. Example: Knights(Honor faction) have Broken Armor tokens while Undead(Crypt faction) have Corpse Explosion tokens (deal massive damage when the creature is destroyed)
One box set: 2 complete factions , 2 ready to play Skirmish decks for 2 players
Both boxes: 4 complete factions, 4 ready to play Skirmish decks for 4 players OR combine them to create 2 Battle Decks for 2 players
Standard Format: 36 card minimum, 1 faction max, 1 Legendary hero limit
Standard Format: 45 card minimum, 2 faction max, 2 Legendary hero limit (up to 3 max of each hero)
60 card minimum, 2 faction max, 4 Legendary hero limit (up to 3 max of each)
45 card minimum, no faction limit, no legendary hero limit

This game was designed to be a 1v1 competitive dueling game BUT we have had some fans of multi-player options suggest some ways it would work and we like a few ideas that we will explore down the road

We have hired some great artists from the industry and go through a long process for each piece. First we send a description of what we are looking for, then the artist sends back multiple sketches, once we choose one, we then go back and forth on many details and changes until the final piece is complete. These artists have worked on such games as MTG(TM), Talisman(TM), Hex(TM) and others!

Why Expandable Card Game?
We had originally built this game as a CCG (collectible card game) but find that most people that play tested it really wanted to get everything in one purchase. So we listened. We built core sets instead of random boosters. And it has worked out great! It naturally works as an expandable card game with the faction set up. Now we can easily add just one faction at any time to the Forged Realms collection instead of having to build an entire expansion for random boosters. Plus it won't be hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the player to build a set
I believe that people would love to try a different style of dueling game. Something other than 'your turn, my turn' kind of game. A game where you are engaged every turn during the entire turn. Where your strategy can be put together in secret. As a commander, you send out all of your orders in advance and hope they succeed the way you envisioned them. And finally, where every card drawn is impactful and playable from turn one
I feel that Kickstarter was made for projects like this. A couple of people have a fun/wild idea and want to see if other people might want the same things in a game. Fast paced, very short, play at the same time. Kickstarter is the perfect answer for this question. It's up to you to be the judge if this is something worth backing for production. We are not a big company with tons of resources at our disposal yet we think this project is full of strategy, high quality, and most importantly, fun. We are very excited to get this out in front of all of you to see how you feel about this game. We already have the artists hired, the cards designed and the factions that make the core set ready!

Risks and challenges
There are always risks and challenges with a project like this but this will be my 3rd kickstarter. (although my most ambitious one). If anything would take longer than normal or there are any delays, I will be 100% up front with everyone at where we are on the path to completion.
