Sundance and Beyond!

Hello beautiful backers!

First off, let me, this is Bridey, express my gratitude to you all- I know we've been quiet on  the Kickstarter page since the whole Sundance dance. It's been a whirlwind for the whole CG team and I know we are behind in the estimated delivery schedule of rewards such as the digital download, voice mails, and the house tour. Please rest assured those will come as soon as humanly possible. As first time feature filmmakers we could not foresee all that happens after the festival premiere. (Good things!)---( Doesn't that sound like something Trump would tweet?) But these good things have complicated and delayed these rewards. I apologize for that and appreciate your patience, and will let you all know when to expect these rewards as soon as we can. Does anyone want more brownies or underpants in the mean time??

This past weekend Clara's Ghost screened at the Wisconsin Film Festival where my mother, (Clara, but Paula in real life) and I attended. The cheese lovin' crowd of Wisconsin loved the movie. I gotta say everyone at that festival was a sweetheart. I, along with actor, Josh Fadem, talked to the screenwriting class at the University of Wisconsin about filmmaking and basically not letting the man get you down, which I believe is 80 % of this business. The students were cool and I felt smart.  As a double feature with Clara's, the festival screened, a beautiful 16 mm print of Let's Scare Jessica to Death (1971) which was a huge inspiration for the film.

Onward, Clara's Ghost screens at the Atlanta Film Festival on April 16 and in May at the Maryland Film Festival. If you are in either of these cities and would like to come, please reach out!

There will be more announcements made soon, and we will keep you all posted about the rewards. Thank you for your support and patience!

Congrats! That's great news. I will be at the Maryland Film Festival. Looking forward to seeing the film and seeing you again. (We met on the street in NY once when I was screening my short film, Extra School at the NIFF.) Cary

I love the inclusion and tie in with inspiration from Let's Scare Jessica To Death. Growing up in the area it has always been a huge cult classic for us locals. I can't wait to see Clara's Ghost!
