Hello Clara’s Ghost-ers!

Greetings from me, Bridey, how are you all doing? Did you guys like the eclipse? Or were you sad the Mets lost? Who knows what any of it means any ways. All I know is, we are shooting this goddamn movie in four weeks whether you like it or not and I hope you like it because you are why and how we are making it. I am already settled at my folks house in Connecticut, usually I’d feel like a big fat loser right now, but now I get to say “No, I’m not here to free load at my parents house, and hit on the cashiers at Stop and Shop. I am here to make a movie.” Pre-production starts in a week and that means all of our fabulous crew from Los Angeles will say “Goodbye city life, Green acres, here we come!” and join me in the woods of Connecticut until early October.

I know a lot of you are like “WHAT THE HELL?! WHERE IS MY REWARD YOU, ASSHOLE” and I totally understand, but please be patient as the movie is now starting to take precedence over everything and everyone in my life. As soon as we possibly can, we will get you all your rewards, you’ll be bathing in them. Life will be sweet and wonderful.

Until we actually start shooting, I’ll be revising the script, getting my family ready for me to scold them for three weeks, and location scouting. Honestly, the people working on this movie are so incredibly gifted and kind, I know we can pull it off with flying colors as my middle school teacher would say. Again, your support, patience, and kindness are all fueling this project.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,

Bridey

P.S. This fish appeared on the lawn yesterday, mysteriously. We are taking it as a good omen:

a good omen
