In Picnic Panic, Command a tribe of warrior ants, fighting other tribes for control of a stash of candy that has fallen on the ground. The game is easy to learn and quick to play. Best of all, you get to eat the candy that you capture.
The game contains (41) 1-inch long metal miniatures depicting the four ant tribes. It is the perfect introduction to miniatures gaming for children aged 9 and up. Or, substitute an adult beverage for the candy, and you have the perfect game to end a late night gaming.

Stonegate Forge was created as a way to produce fun, innovative games that have been floating around in our heads for a long time...and to keep a connection within our family since we live on both coasts and in the Midwest. All of us have been playing games since we could talk and going to gaming conventions since we could walk.

Risks and challenges
While we have done a lot of the work up-front so that we have a smooth kickstarter, the biggest risks and challenges we will face will be in self-fulfillment and the fact that we are working with new suppliers.
Since we are a brand new company, we are fulfilling all of the orders ourselves. To fulfill, we will be cutting and sealing all of the boards and dipping all of the figures by hand. We have come up with some pretty clever production methods, but it could be overwhelming if the project is very successful. If that happens, we will find a way to up our fulfillment capacity to meet the ship dates.
Lastly, we are a new company working with new suppliers. Other than our miniature manufacturer, Iron Wind Metals, we are starting fresh with some on-demand printers. That said, the game is being manufactured completely in the U.S. to avoid long delays and unforeseen issues and we believe that we have found the right companies to take us to the finish line.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
