The Wild Hunt

Version Française ici…

Amza is one of the Oorkh, a tribe of primitive orcs recognizable by their lean and gnarled bodies. Nature has given them this appearance to facilitate their movements in the dense jungle. He is one of the best hunters and likes to let it be known, to such an extent that the frustrated members of his village, challenged him to go as far as possible to bring them the rarest game in the world.

So Amza went north, hoping to hunt down an exceptional creature. He finally heard about the Holy Elf Dragon. He imagined a majestic dragon haloed with light. It was the perfect opportunity to prove he was the best hunter in the world.

When it comes to tracking prey or enemies, Amza is second to none. He could be walking two steps behind you without getting noticed. He is also a master in the art of traps, transforming each pile of leaves into a pit with spikes or an innocent branch into a catapult.

Do you feel watched? So watch where you are walking or be careful not to get a javelin between your shoulder blades.

It is good that he sets traps everywhere, but maybe he should not forget where he set them.

Be Bad, Be Tough, Be Orc!

I'm not opposed to more female characters being included, but thank you for telling me how I feel. This is a small company producing their very first board game so accusing me of sexism because I'm telling you it's very unlikely they can just go back to the drawing board and start over without extra funding for gender equality is just ridiculous. If you haven't noticed the core game and all those expansions were already brainstormed and designed for the campaign. Asking you to follow the community guidelines instead being sarcastic and negative every time you don't get your want doesn't make it sexist. No one is asking you to back something that doesn't represent your interests. Did it ever cross your mind Maze created this game with a male target audience in mind? It is what it is, that's like me complaining about shoujo manga (manga aimed at a teenage female target-demographic readership) and complaining about gender.

I'm more annoyed that in a game called Orcquest there are so far only 5 orcs...

Ok, I apologise for that black panther comment, sexism and racism arn' t co dependent. Your opposition to female represent doesn't mean you must have an issue with ethnic minorities too - that was a low blow.

@Dustin If I didn't care for a project I wouldn't have my pledge sitting at the base game + several of the expansions. I love fantasy dungeon crawlers, I backed this thing on day one - but it's frustrating that the creators give male players choice after choice but after 10 odd male characters, women are sitting with 2. I want this game, but my gaming group is too diverse to see this played more than a couple of times at most.

Why should I back something that doesn't represent my gamers? It's not sarcasm it's frustration.

@Clint @Dustin Excuse me for believing in equality in the year 2018. Trust me, I know the gaming community is full of insecure socially awkward young men who want gaming to be a "safe space" from women. But it's not all of us. I have 4 women in my gaming group and the creator's token representation of 50% of the population means this is yet another game I can see those 4 vetoing when it's put on the table.

Not that I expect you to understand, your likely the same people who as
started screaming "white genocide" after Black Panther gave us the first black lead in a Marvel after 20-odd white led movies.

Clint Perhaps you should take a break from KS if you get that upset and bothered by it. There wouldn't be any "incessant blah blah blah" if people followed the community guidelines which state: "If you don’t like a project, don’t back it, simply move along." This isn't the first time General Cammy has been negative and sarcastic in regards to content she doesn't agree with.

The incessant virtue-signalling is the most infuriating bit about Kickstarter.

@General Cammy Yea, it's not Ciel Fledge. If you are going to back a project be respectful and supportive. Have you considered the amount of time, money and energy it goes into design, prototyping and production for the project characters? And they put a tremendous amount of effort into creating the characters the way they want them to be. Are you really going to be sarcastic every time an update happens that you don't care for?

And yet another male, sigh, yes because the game's not got enough of those already.
