Thanks that was timely! Awesome news

A multiplayer test will start in a couple of weeks.

    4. Space Monkey on May 18, 2015

What happened the the multiplayer in the end? I had put the game aside so that I would enjoy it in coop. I hope it's still going to happen.

If there isn't, you could always get a controller emulator.

Is there any sign of controller support? I'm a Steam Big Picture Mode user and despite backing the game I haven't really played it yet!

@terry rewards are starting to ship now, and tees have been delivered to most tee tiers.

    8. Jamie on November 17, 2013

I just wanted to apologise for my email asking about steamkeys. A bit of a look through the site and I saw the issue had been addressed before. Anyways, happily playing now. Good job, guys.

      any news on rewards shipping

It's cheaper on Steam because then you're stuck having to use a DRM like Steam. I'd gladly pay an extra $6 to have any game DRM free.

      Bah :(

Game is on sale today for 10$ on Steam. I expect a sale at some point, but only after the COMPLETED game has been available for say 1/2 year. This is a great disservice to all those that took the risk to pledge at least $16 to made this game possible in the first place.

Aaargh. This is going to sound like a really stupid question but How do I eat food in game?

    16. Big Robot Creator on September 24, 2013

We've posted this numerous times now: Steam keys have been available since day one.

Claim them via your Humble build:

I'm a Godus backer and they seem to have gotten the game on Steam and Keys to backers very quickly. I'm curious to know what the process is that is holding up getting keys to backers - since you can pay for the game on Steam and get a key... What is Steams reasoning in holding back keys - I guess that you need a certain level of paid customers before you get 5000 keys to give out?

When are the steam keys coming out?

    19. Greg Love on September 2, 2013

I found one of the (?) remnants / pieces down by a jetty on the main island, but could not add it to my inventory, is this a bug? I tried making room in my inventory by dropping some unimportant items, but found I still could not add the piece. Anyone else have this problem?

Btw, having lotsa fun, those bots are quite deadly, need an RPG to blow them away!

    20. Chad on August 25, 2013

Please get steam keys out soon guys. I really want to play, but I kinda hate managing non steam stuff.

Playing the alpha and definitely having a blast. I love that the little bastards laugh at me after they kill me. But I guess Im just weird like that. LOL

    22. Jamie Robin GIbbs on August 22, 2013

It is indeed, theukmoog! I've built up the courage to venture further, and gotten myself shot to pieces several times. I've found that with my laptop, I must click with two fingers to open the dropdown menu on food items, which was rather unexpected, and might need to be pointed out to others in the early stages of the game. Managed to avoid starving to death, but also that several things I acquired imagining they might be food have had rather undesired effects, quite trippy. Shame to say, the spotter balloon has found me several times, including once when I thought myself quite invisible, but I managed to get away rather well last time, into some distant bushes. Still quite weaponless, though I have found where I can get a stick of dynamite... next time, if I manage to save rather than getting stuck quivering behind a wall, overhearing the hunters speaking of something or other being extraordinary...

    23. theukmoog on August 22, 2013

Jamie Robin GIbbs - isn't it awesome :)

To use the binoculars - select them (mouse wheel scroll or B) then left click to use them.
You can then mouse wheel to zoom in/out.
Left click again to stop using them.

To eat/drink - open inventory, right click on the item and click USE.

And whilst tabbed out to leave you this response, a balloon sentry has spotted me... whoop! whoop! :)

    24. Jamie Robin GIbbs on August 20, 2013

ok, downloaded from Humble, got to playing! Terrified. In a good way. I pretty much haven't left the standing stones because THEY'RE EVERYWHERE and I CAN HEAR THEM, but cannot see where they are. Probably just me being unaccustomed to spotting them as yet. But yeah. At my guess there's a dozen around the edges of the field, and a balloon. Haven't triggered the alarm yet (but I know I like the alarm, from what I've heard in the video, there's a tiny chance of me running under just for funsies.) So far, niggles are: I don't know how to use my items. Binoculars = B but not going into binoc-vision, except that one time when I came out of a menu. Don't know how to eat this pie, either. Clicking like mad, nothing is happening. Using a Mac Laptop, with a silly it's-all-button trackpad. Oh heavens... I've left the game and can still hear robots. Are the birds outside messing with me? Is my brain horrifically scarred already?

      As per the update today:

Steam keys will also be available as soon as we're able to provide them.

So yeh.. there's your answer to why you haven't received a Steam key.. pays to read the updates :)

    26. Drew on August 19, 2013

@Bibas I was wondering the same thing as I did the £10 too . I have a download link to the beta on my Humble page, but no Steam key.

    27. Johnny7 on August 19, 2013

Congratulations on the alpha release. I got this a couple of hours ago and I'm loving every minute! Very slick and stable for an alpha, well done.

@theukmoog, you can change between "Sir" or "Madam" in the main menu

      Got the Alpha.
      Loving it.
But why am I being referred to as "madam" in the voiceover?
I thought it was "Sir" You are being hunted :)

Hey guys, I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan and it's 8:41pm. I backed the game for 35$ tier and was wondering if anyone else was able to download today? It's the 19th here, so I'm just really excited. If anyone could let me know, I'd greatly appreciate that.

    32. Elder on August 18, 2013

So the Alpha is hitting steam and humble store tomorrow supposedly. I only backed on the £10 level. What does that mean in terms of when I will get to give the game a go? Will I be able to get in the tomorrow, or will I need to wait longer?

    33. Big Robot Creator on July 9, 2013

Looks like August. Higher tiers have the alpha now, we'll expand that as soon as we're ready.

Just finished my survey. Hopefully it will help you guys.

    36. Big Robot Creator on June 7, 2013

@Sven: No, we need to process them through the Humble widget, which requires an email as gift registrant.

    37. Setsuo Ray on June 7, 2013

      @Big Robot.
      Thanks! The survey is done.
      Enjoy the recovered 20%

    38. Sven O. on June 7, 2013

@Big Robot - Can i send the two extra gift copies of the game to my own e-mail and give them away later?

    39. Big Robot Creator on June 7, 2013

@Setsuo, your tier survey is incoming soon.

@Tastycrisp, yes, we will. We've been warning other UK Kickstarters about it.

@Nick, you will get access to Windows, Linux and Mac builds, so you won't have to choose. They won't all arrive at the same time, however, so we'll announce the Linux and Mac builds soon after the Windows version goes out. We've got a bit of content to get through before we branch to those OS

    40. Richard McCormack on June 7, 2013

I am from the UK so taking the survey wont help but I have no problem giving you guys a few more £'s to cover this loss as i would hate to think anything would could interrupt such a cool games development.
Could you add paypal 'donate' functionality to your website? or think of an alternative way to give you some more money?

    41. Iain Mabbott on June 5, 2013

@BigRobot - thanks for the reply, July can't come quickly enough now!

Just filled in the survey, not in the UK so happy to help.

However...are you able to send out another survey at a later date to ask us about PC, Mac, Linux etc etc? I seem to remember from other Kickstarters that they could only send out the survey once?

    45. TastyCrisp on June 3, 2013

Hey guys, that sucks regarding the tax malarkey :( Will you be writing an update/article on this? Sounds like something that could have a massive knock on to other UK Kickstarters and would be handy for developers and backers to know more about.

US here, filled out my survey for you, and I hope you guys are able to get back much of what the government took. Damn death and taxes, huh? :)

    47. Matt on June 3, 2013

I'm from the states so I filled it out. Would also be happy to contribute another 20% via PayPal, if that would help.

    48. Setsuo Ray on June 3, 2013

OK, I just read the KS "Survey FAQs". Ignore my previous question. I'll keep an eye out for the survey for my tier.
