Crazy history: Nintendo's own Ukiyo-e Roots

THIS IS AMAZING!

The Nintendo company started over a hundred years ago, printing Western face cards and Japanese hanafuda cards.  Seeing this, Ukiyo-e Heroes feels even more legitimized.  :)

Check out these ukiyo-e style cards, made by Nintendo!

Wow. Finally know a bit about the deck I bought at a garage sale. Though in a plastic box by "Ace Playing Cards" and "Ukiyo-e", it has some of the images in the deck you linked to. Interesting! Thanks.

すげい! I think they have some of those on display at NintendoWorld in NYC (with some other cool Nintendo memorabilia).
