Let me tell you a story!
Last year Quirk! was a relatively unknown game, it succeeded its campaign on a very modest funding goal.
Soon after I had requests for expansion sets, all before my stock had even arrived!
The game was taken on holidays and played multiple times a day, on an aeroplane with other passengers, I was receiving messages telling me it was being played weekly and requested by extended family members when out visiting.
By Christmas the game was starting to be recognised by complete strangers!
We had even taken on retailers across the UK who started selling out regularly.
So I had to make Quirk! Legends. It's a step up from the original game. Our youngest players have been 3+ which astonished me as I originally recommended the game for 7+. The original game is now the base game, with easy to play characters.
Quirk! Legends in my opinion, is the next level up. They are legendary characters. That means they are a little bit harder to impersonate but it means we also turn up the volume on how funny our friends and family will be during game play.
There's also the element of good vs. evil, where you can see if you are good or evil at the end of the game from the Quirks you've collected. Whilst still being an easy to play and light-hearted family game.
I'm really excited for this one and I hope you join me in creating the next Quirk! game.

Risks and challenges
I've been through the entire production run with Quirk! last year, producing a successful game, enjoyed and played by thousands of people over the course of 2017. On my successful campaign for Quirk! in June last year, the game was relatively unknown and fulfilling under 100 backers was manageable. If, however, this campaign attracts a bigger crowd and we smash some stretch goals along the way, there will be new learning curves to get through... but no matter what, you'll receive your game!
