Whole Wheat Bread, now fully independent, would like you to help with their new album. Its their fifth record.
Whole Wheat Bread is ready to record their new album and we need your help. We are recording in Orlando, Fl at a fully solar powered studio. It is our fifth album, however it is our first record without the financial backing of a label.
Having been a successful touring band for the past 10 years we know what it takes to write, record, and press an album. The only difference is that this time we have to pay for the whole process. We are now completely independent and seeking the help of our friends and fans to help ease the burden of the expense of recording.
This is where you come in! By you helping us Kickstart our album, we will have the means necessary to produce a polished, finished product and be able to press enough copies for you and your friends to enjoy.
All funds collected will help to pay the cost or travel, lodging, sound engineers, producers, studio time and album printing costs. This record will showcase the bands true talent without the influence of labels and major producers. All donations of any size will be extremely helpful in taking this from pre-production to your stereo.
We have toured with bands like Rancid, Bad Brains, The Bouncing Souls, Reel Big Fish, MXPX, MC Chris, Suicidal Tendencies, Gym Class Heroes, GBH, Streetlight Manifesto, Big D and the Kids Table, Killah Priest from Wu- Tang, and Street Dogs. We have recorded with artists like Lil' Jon, Murs, Tim Armstrong, and Mike McColgan. We have done over a million miles on the road and have recorded 4 previous albums. With your support, we all can look forward to album number 5.
Here is a video from our last album along with a few others. Enjoy!
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Our previous albums and years of experience have given us the resources and know how to make the album happen. As long as the funding is in place the record will happen. Challenges with this process include:
Cost of engineers and producers
Album production costs
Mixing and Mastering
We expect to officially release the album February 15th 2013
