Hello backers!

Although we have a very international set, it is the Thanksgiving holiday weekend here in America, and we want to start out by thanking you once again for the support that you've given us. It is a rare opportunity to be able to make good on a long-held dream, and thanks to you we're doing so with this project. It has been a massive undertaking for us, and though we've had a few rough spots along the way, we've covered a great deal of ground and are steadily closing in on getting the core book wrapped up.

Core Book Status

Here's the quick overview of where we stand now with the core:

Clockwork core book status 11.30.14
Clockwork core book status 11.30.14

As you can see, since the last update we've completed the revisions on several further chapters, and have started digging in to final edits that incorporate the adjustments and recommendations from our editor. We are pushing to close out final editing and get the book into final proofreading by the end of December so it can start the layout process in January. This is a very exciting time for us, as not only are we seeing the final, polished version of a huge amount of game material, we are closing out different areas of work that are letting us focus on fewer tasks and build momentum going into the final steps of the process.

Special Backer Content

Now that we've gotten into the home stretch with core book editing we will be reaching out to all backers with special content for the core book - characters, items, rituals, etc - in backer-level specific posts in the next two weeks. The posts will contain relevant reference material and contact instructions so we can coordinate with you through December and early January regarding your special contributions. We can't wait to see what you've come up with.

Timelines and Estimated Delivery

Right now we are shooting for getting the core book off to print by the end of Q1 or beginning of Q2 2015. We don't want to be any more specific than that right now as we don't want to disappoint anyone with incorrect promises. As we've already seen with some encountered delays in art, we don't have complete control over everything, and as we've seen in the longer-than-expected revision and final editing process, even when we do have control we want to make sure that this is the best book we can possibly produce and are taking the time needed to do so. The layout and printing stage are being handled by third parties, so we'll keep you informed and update the timelines as that process continues.

Other Updates and Activity

- Incident Aboard the Egret: The adventure is ready to go in a revised draft, and once final edits are completed on the core book and it goes to proofing and layout Egret will be moved into final edit and layout so it should be ready to go at or around the same time the core book is released.

- Clockwork art book: The digital art book will be finalized after the core book is finished and the current estimate is that it will be sent out in Q2 2015.

- Cabinet of Curiosities: As we've begun closing out final edits and revisions we're already getting preliminary material and pre-planning in place for the Cabinet of Curiosities. This is a natural progression from the editing process, as we've identified areas that are ripe for additional exploration and some content that we just couldn't squeeze into the core book, and is setting us in good stead for ramping up the work on the primary writing for Cabinet as soon as we hand off the core book for layout.

- New Adventures: For cons in 2015 we'll be running a selection of our existing scenarios Idle Hands, Incident Aboard the Egret, and Power, as well as debuting two new ones - Hunting Grounds and In for a Penny. Keep an eye on our website, future updates, and con event listings for full descriptions.

We've already shown you some of the bright and beautiful, so here's some of the dark and dangerous by artist Luke Santiago.

I don't remember whether the full-art clockwork cards PDF has been released yet. If it hasn't, what's it's progress status?
