We are delighted to welcome Lex Shrapnel to the cast on RUN. - finally completing our ambition to stage an on-screen Shrapnel vs. Shrapnel rivalry. Lex will be playing the part of THE OTHER, the mysterious stranger from whom THE BOY seems to have been escaping. Lex graduated from Guildhall School of Speech & Drama, and being one of John Shrapnel's highly talented children, he followed in his father's footsteps by establishing himself in the Royal Shakespeare Company, before embarking on a highly successful career on the stage, as well as in film and television. He was awarded for his excellent performances while with the RSC, being nominated for 'Outstanding Newcomer' at the 2008 Evening Standard Awards for Henry IV Part I, and receiving an Ian Charleston commendation in 2006 for his performance in Henry VI. In addition, Lex has performed in Death of a Salesman and The Deep Blue Sea at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, as well as in Hedda Gabler at the Royal & Derngate Theatre.

On screen, Lex can be seen starring in: Kathryn Bigelow's K-19: The Widowmaker, Captain America: The First Avenger, Breakfast On Pluto, and Flyboys; as well television appearances in Endeavour, Hunted, Holby City, Casualty, and winning The Cult TV Award 2009 for Breakthrough Performance in Minder.

We are all VERY excited to be working with an actor of Lex's calibre and experience. His ability and presence will allow us to make this film the best it can be. Interestingly, Lex is the grandson of great Hollywood actress Deborah Kerr.

We promise to keep you updated as developments develop, and progressions progress. Thanks again for all your wonderful support.

Sam and Esrael
