Hoaxed "rough cut" will be ready on May 19th!
As you know, we've been hard at work getting Hoaxed finished. Our production schedule was intense as we traveled across the country to interview the biggest names in media. Travel might seem "glamorous," but it's mostly lugging a bunch of equipment around and hustling.
By the final day of production, I was wiped from an intense travel schedule that not only included Hoaxed, but also involved media/journalism work as well as my mindset seminars.
The directors have informed me that a "rough cut" will be ready May 19th.
Here is what that means:
"In filmmaking, the rough cut is the second of three stages of offline editing. The rough cut is the first stage in which the film begins to resemble its final product. Rough cuts are recognizable as a conventional film, but may have notable errors or defects, may not have the desired narrative flow from scene to scene, may lack soundtrack music, sound effects or visual effects, and still undergo many significant changes before the release of the film."
A rough cut can't be shown in a theatre yet, as we'll have to finalize all of the clearance and legal issues.
Once the rough cut is in my hands, I'll watch it with a few other people, we'll provide our comments, and then Hoaxed will be ready to go.
Thank you again for backing Hoaxed! You'll be proud you supported this film.
