Pledge Manager winding down, sculpt progress
Just a quick update before the weekend. As you know, our Pledge Manager will be closing next week. Our initial closing date was set for Monday, but as we started a bit later, due to MLK Day, we decided to prolong the PM until the end of January, that is to Wednesday, 31st January.
Please have your orders finalized by that date, so we can close down the numbers and start working with our printers.
On another note, last Wednesday, after receiving the final masters, we commissioned the resin production of the first 7 models. Actually, we received 8, but the Engine Nymph had an unfortunate case of a goatee (some flashing that was not entirely cleaned), so she went back for a slight lifting. Another 5 Nymphs, including the Night Nymph and Hope Nymph, are undergoing pre-master cutting, as you can see below:
Bear in mind these are all WIP, but will give you a general idea of where the minis are going:
The Curiosity Nymph is coming along nicely. Still missing a lot of detail, like the chest markings, face and hair.
The Mask Nymph: the pose is finished, we're in the middle of modelling all the various masks (that includes the face-mask), hair and finishing the little details.
And finally, the Machina Nymph, with rough terrain geometery and still sporting human legs... here you can get a glimpse of our work process. It's not a simple one and done, Mateusz oversees all the design steps, giving pointers how to best translate the art piece into the finished model. By the way, this is done by the same artist that rendered the Night Nymph above, so expect great things.
And this is it for today. Next time you’ll hear from us around the time the PM closes on Wednesday or earlier, if we get more work done on the Machina Nymph. Thanks for your support and continued interest!
