Week 2 Review - We're at 33% + Feat. Draft Pages!

Posted by Peter Lonergan (Creator)

We’re now in Week 3 of our crowd funding campaign and once again we’d like to thank all our new supporters! In 25% of the time, we’ve now reached 33% of our goal!

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has backed this project so far but we are a bit nervous about losing momentum! In light of this, we want to count on as much of your support as possible and hope sincerely that you will continue to share this project with your colleagues and friends! Thank you all!

Today, we’ve decided to provide you with an update on progress. We’ve included here a draft sample of upcoming spreads, taken from two of the essays of this project. The first, known as Drinking from the Fountainhead has been penned by eminent Sydney writer, Philip Drew, who has been busy recounting Bruce Rickard’s experiences abroad in Europe and the United States as a young graduate.

The second essay, known as The Fig Tree in the Room is by prominent Australian artist and academic, Professor Richard Goodwin, a critical analysis of Rickard’s work and its differences when juxtaposed against the American Modernist architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
