DIY Goodies

Posted by Jules Prick (Creator)

Harrr mateys!

Perhaps you've followed the discussion in the comments section, but last week some backers came up with the great idea of creating a treasure map card to keep track of your score. Jim Murray offered us straight away to design one for us  - thanks!!!

We've added a file with DIY tokens as well. Print them on cardboard or use a 3D-printer to create the tokens for keeping track on the treasure map.

Last but not least we've added DIY rule cards. Easy to got some extra ones for the freshwater captains joining the game! Harrr!

You can download them here.

What's next?

While we're slowly heading for our next stretch goal some of you guys have been asking us to create some extra stimulation (add-ons or smaller stretches). Production wise it is too costly to add extra components - however we can actually create extra artwork without adding extra cards (smart idea - thanks guys).

We're still getting our heads around it - but we'll be adding some smaller stretches in the near future. So stay tuned!

Thanks for your support!

Team Pirates!

Did you know that:

  • We sold over 480 copies of the game
  • We have over 2k views on our Kickstarter page
  • We have over 4k views on our Youtube video's
  • No pirates were harmed during the making of Pirates!
  • The Governor's daughter is a self-portrait?

Yeah we think so too! And we'd like the game to be as inclusive as possible!

Looks great. I think those smaller stretch goals will help keep things rolling in the interim.
