About this project

The Tales of the Wolfman series is a reimagined combination of fairy tales and Universal monster movies.  What would happen if Red Riding Hood met the Wolf and married him?  What if Wolf was a wolfman and his friends were all monsters?

Bride of the Wolfman, the first book in the series, explores Red and Wolf's relationship.  They experience the typical newlywed adventures, skewed by the fact that he is a wolfman.

In House of the Wolfman, they decide to remodel their house.  In an effort to save money, Wolf hires his monster friends to complete the work.

The Tales of the Wolfman anthology is a 48-page collection of comics and art by various creators we have met over the years.  It is a celebration of the series and a way to introduce new readers to Red, Wolf and their monster and fairy tale friends.

The book will be in black and white with a color cover, just like the other books in the series, only this one will be perfect bound.  It will feature the works of talented creators Justin Casteneda, Dave Scheidt, Lee O'Hanlon, Angel Onofre, Ali Cantarella, Tony Maldonado, Greg Sorkin, Lauren Burke, Brian Babendererde, Sara Mundt and Wil Brendel, to name a few.  The front cover will be by Rene Castellano with a back cover by animators, Catherine and Sarah Satrun.

We are using Kickstarter so that the book can be professionally printed. We want to provide the quality comics our readers deserve.  Also, we will be using some of the funds to pay for the talented people who are participating in this book.

Risks and challenges

The biggest challenge has been the coordination of all the different talented people and their artistic contributions. We think our timetable is modest, but even after all comics and art are complete, the books will have to be formatted and printed. We are striving to meet deadlines and stay ahead of any unexpected obstacles to avoid any delays.
