I wonder if we should talk in 1st or 3rd person in this thing? I know, how about a mix of both? BOOM!

We hosted season one of a popular show called "AutoPilot", where we took twelve television pilots from years past, reviewed them and left our mark on them forever more. (Check http://autopilotshow.com to hear season one.) Turned out, we were onto something. People really liked the show, and have asked us to continue. Our original goal was create a full season to test the water, and then see how much interest we could generate in a project like this, which would determine season 2 happening or not. We always said, if we end up with season two, it would need sponsorship to make it worth the time, effort and resources. Otherwise, it would be difficult to justify given our full schedules and bill paying needs.
Then we had an idea. Rather than spend time chasing down sponsors that would in turn fill the episodes with commercials / promotional talk, why not see if the audience wants to own the season instead? It's a bit of an experiment, but the more we think about it, the more we like the idea that YOU get to move the show forward. And, at the same time, reap some cool rewards while you're at it. Kickstarter is perfect for this sort of thing, so we decided to go for it. (NOTE: 12 episodes! Plus the commentary track constitute season 2, for those looking for a quantifying number.)
As you can see, there are a number of cool rewards packages. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions.
So there you have it. Essentially we are putting our listeners in charge on this show. And as far as bosses go, you guys are the best. :)
The support everyone has continued to show for our Kickstarter has been nothing short of amazing. We are so excited about it that we want to add some cool new stretch goals to the campaign:
Stretch Goal #1 - If we reach $8,500, we are going to add an additional episode to Season 2. That's lucky number 13, people! UNLOCKED!
Stretch Goal #2 - If we reach $10,000, then BOOM! Season 3 is a go. 12 more episodes, baby! UNLOCKED!
Stretch Goal #3 - If we reach $12,500, then there is no other choice but to add a 13th episode to Season 3 as well, right? Right.
Stretch Goal #4 -???? We have some sweet ideas for additional stretch goals if we keep going beyond that, but just thinking about it is making us dizzy so we are going to keep them locked in our noggins for now. If we pass $10,000, we'll be back to tell you all about them.
And one more thing.....
We're making a little change in plans. Now that we have hit Stretch Goal #2, we still plan to give 8 more of you a chance to pick a show and cohost an episode with us during Season 3. However, we don't want to make you bid now and wait that long so we are going to release those at a later date. We'll let everyone know when they are ready!
