About this project
Route 3 is a super-powered road trip from hell. A Stone Mountain, GA teen finds out he’s been granted with a set of spectacular abilities, that he knows nothing about. He’s now on the run from a wide array of folks in a sort of super powered arms race across the Southeastern United States. Explosions, gunfights, telekinetic feats of awesomeness, and a little personal growth are all thrown into the mix.
We've collected all three issues of the first story arc into a superb collected edition that also includes a cover page gallery, "DVD" extras, and a forward by the talented artist/ writer Takeia Marie (Contributor to Rosarium Publishing's APB: Artists Against Police Brutality).
We are raising funds primarily to get the completed collected edition, Route 3 Vol. 1, printed.
Let me repeat this:
THE BOOK IS FINISHED. COMPLETE. IN THE CAN.
All three issues of the award winning comic book series are completed, and are ready to be placed into your hands.
All we literally need to do is raise funds for copies of the collected graphic novel, get the finished copy to the printer, and get the book in to readers, new and old. In addition to this, we're hoping to use these same funds to begin to get the books into a variety of locations, including future conventions, comic book stores, book stores, and libraries.
In addition to getting the book into you our awesome contributors, we have other perks available as rewards, and as possible stretch goals as you can see on the right side of this page.
The series has been featured on such websites as Comic Book Resources, Black Girl Nerds, Bleeding Cool News, and Comic Crusaders, won the 2014 Glyph Comics Award for Best Cover, and was nominated for the 2017 Glyph Comics Award for Best Reprint Publication for Route 3 Vol 1.
Check out some of the awesome pieces of art from the Route 3 series with pencils/ inks by Sean Hill, colors by Ann Siri O'Brien and Omi Remalante, and award winning cover art by Anthony "Antboi" Piper.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk for this would quite simply be not raising the money. :-)
Since the book has already been laid out, we just need to get it to the printer, and shipped. With an 8-10 week turnaround with our printer, we will begin shipping hard copies of the books (along with copies of Terminus books for donors at the $100-$300 level) towards the end of August, beginning of September .
Digital copies of the books, digital wallpaper, and digital prints will begin to be sent out in June for all backers.
With this being the first Kickstarter for our team, please have patience as we get these packages shipped out. Our goal is to get them out in a timely fashion, but in the case of any delays with getting the shipments out we will reach out to you to give updates.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
