WHO IS MARK SCHULMAN?
MARK SCHULMAN is THE man. He is affiliated and has been affiliated with more famous acts than most musicians see in a lifetime. These acts include Foreigner, Cher, P!NK, Sheryl Crow, Velvet Revolver, Stevie Nicks, Destiny's Child, Billy Idol, and many many more. Needless to say, he is more than accredited and a veteran in music of all sounds and styles.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. Mark Schulman has not only put the beat down on his music career, but he has also put the beat down on cancer. The man is a cancer-survivor. His battle led him to become a man and soul of generosity, caring, and compassion. On top of being a part of charities too numerous to list, he also does seminars with the Ronald McDonald House (a charity that has changed nearly 9 million lives every year since 1974) and benefits for the Teenage Cancer Trust (a non-profit health care organization that has helped hundreds of thousands of young teens beat and cope with cancer) in the UK. As a teen himself, Mark was invited to play with the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic. Later, he was the drummer for Cher during the "Believe" and "Farewell" tours (two of the most attended tours in music history), he speaks professionally at many corporate seminars to help inspire others, and among so many other things, he is an owner and creator of West Triad Studios.
WEST TRIAD STUDIOS
West Triad Studios is one of those humble little niche spots that most people never see. It's Mark's own pretty piece of paradise. What started as basic storage in between frequent tours became an enterprise quality music recording studio.
Mark's usual practice here is to have users send him their music (minus the percussion, of course). He listens, gets a feel for the song, and then records multiple options of drum tracks. These takes are then sent back to the user to distribute at a very modest fee. If you need a drum track, give Mark's site a visit: http://www.markdrumtracks.com/content/your-drum-tracks.
Mark and West Triad Studio has an EXTENSIVE (to say the least) repertoire of instruments, compressors, microphones, etc. We've decided to give you the link of all the fun toys that Mark has to choose from. Everything we could ever want to get our hands on is housed in this studio and at our disposal. If you're curious about the hardware list, please check it out here: http://www.markdrumtracks.com/content/west-triad-studios.
Did I mention that West Triad Studio is also the production home of legends Julian Coryell (Jewel, Leonard Cohen, Carol King, and more) and Erich Gobel (Black Sabboth, John Mayer, Ray Charles, and more)? These three wonders make up this super-team of musicians, producers, engineers, and the list goes on. This guarantees that any track(s) we record in WTS will be refined and filtered by multiple sets of ears and perspectives.
Through the perseverance of David Lee and humble graciousness by Mark Schulman, we have been in contact with Mark. We sent him a few live tracks to listen to, and he has asked us to personally come visit West Triad Studio to record. Pinch us. We must be dreaming.
The goal here is to raise $1500. Mark has offered us a more than generous price to come out and record. Keep in mind here that it is the very MINIMUM that we will need to make. On top of this, we are still going to have to foot the bill for plane tickets, lodging, food, etc. etc.
Our real goal is to get all or most of the trip paid for because let's face it, we're aspiring musicians, and money isn't the easiest thing to come by. While we're away, we will still have normal obligations like bills to take care of. We are all chasing our dream here. For a small pledge, we can all make this become a reality.
These are just goals for wishful thinking in the event that we raise more than expected!
$3,000: This will handsomely fund the single, travel, lodging, etc. for David, Steve, and myself!
$5,000: This could fund 2 possible tracks as well as other expenses!
$10,000: This could fund an entire EP recorded by Mark Schulman and the others of West Triad Studios.

Lastly, thank you Mark Schulman. You are a superstar. Yet you take time out of your personal life to help countless others and leave them lingering with your sense of humility, hope, and humbleness. None of this would be possible without you and your desire to help and inspire others. This will be a life-long experience for all of us, and i'm sure that we will never forget it. We can't thank you enough, and we still can't believe you've given us this opportunity. Cheers to you, friend. Looking forward to the future.

Risks and challenges
Basic production risk is assumed with this project. Most possible risk factors will just be time frame issues.
-Production may take longer than expected.
-Distribution may take longer than expected.
-Distribution of rewards may take longer than expected.
Other than those factors, the audio will be more than professional grade quality, the song will have been reviewed and recycled many times by highly skilled engineers to guarantee quality satisfaction, and the track will be released by West Triad Studios.
With a professional establishment such as this, it really narrows down the list of things that can go wrong. We are hoping that this helps alleviate any apprehension or insecurities that you as a contributor may have.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
