Agree @Hans, and personally I won't worry too much about the quality since the company has got established robot arm product line running for some time. But one should expect version 1.0 is always expected to be "buggy" and hope firmware updates can have the problems fixed (rather than design chance)
You guyz actually should care about the quality of the product than the time of delivery of it. Even you can get the stabilizer on time, what if it wouldn't work well as your expectation? Then a lot of issue come out and you spend more time and money. I agree that we should have the stabilizer on time, but negative comments are not necessary at all and have nothing to do with the shipping things. Just follow the plan that the creator informed us before in the campaign and the updates and stay calm. Hate never get anything better. If you want to have something instantly, Osmo Store would be the place you should visit.
I get the feeling of "first come, first serve", but that's simply not how shipping logistics work. In my experience, sending large quantities in single batches to single countries has always resulted in fewer issues and lower prices. This is especially true when shipping to countries that go heavy on import taxes (shipping to the UK has always been painful for me). It's not fun to be on the receiving end of that, but if you wanted predictability, perhaps waiting for a retail launch is a better option? I really can't fault a creator for any of that, though.
@Michelangelo, I can never give a short answer about anything. It's not in my personality. Successful campaigns have at a minimum two essential characteristics: setting the proper expectation, and consistent and regular communication. Rigiet has the communication part pretty well handled, and I commend them for that. What more seasoned backers come to expect about early backer levels were completely blown apart in this campaign, and as you can see from the comments, the ambitious claims or expectations set about shipping have created a lot of questions, in my opinion, unnecessarily.

@Barry, I'm not miffed about anything, and am really excited to get my hands on this device - but here are some observations: I second everything you said about shipping, and while I am backer #17 and would love preferential ordered shipping, I understand why they might be shipped in bulk and distributed regionally. However, you mention in contrast that backers get to take advantage of early bird pricing, which in the case of this campaign is simply not true. They inflated the Super Early Bird tier for weeks and weeks. They added room on other "early" levels of backing right up until the last day. This tier availability was reported to be related to "feedback from manufacturing". Also, there will be two waves of shipping, some in June for the "early" backers, and another wave in July. This was expressed in update # 3 on May 2nd. Orders placed after May 9th will probably be in the July wave.
@Philip, as much as I would like to agree with you, I fully understand why this and I suspect most other campaigns ship by this method. You get to take advantage of the earlybird pricing but getting priority on delivery is another matter. For logistical business reasons, first order in/first order out isn't realistic. They have to consolidate shipments to each country for the best rate possible and that means prioritizing based on country and not order placement.
I really hope that this doesn't end up like a Snoppa or even worse an Aetho Aeon where the Co just went poof. Snoppa promised delivery in Nov /Dec, 2016 and everything was great until the last moment. Once the delay was announced, it was an endless cycle of excuses. They've just started shipping 6-7 months later than what was previous announced. What is even more infuriating is that they've stocked distributors without even satisfying backers orders.
It's a pity that there are many negative comments.

In this method you have indicated I have passed the desire of everything on Rigiet. If I knew before. Shameful if you use this discriminatory method.

I’m backer no. 10 and backing the early bird pledge in the first hour of your starting campaign was practically useless because not only was the amount of those pledges constantly being extended but know perhaps I will receive my product after someone who back at the very last day of your campaign. Don’t know about that…..
On the other hand there are not many creators that can deliver so shortly after the end of a campaign so I’m pleased with that.
Anyway, looking forward to receiving the Rigiet and you guys did a good job. So congrats again and keep up the good work.

@creator Will manual camera controls be eventually added to the app? I currently use FilmicPro for recording manually but to be able to use the Rigiet app with those controls would be excellent. Just my opinion but- shipping country by country does not seem fair, people who supported you right at the start - I for example no.4 would be annoyed if backer 250,1000..... and so on received theirs before me.
They would be queue jumping - not something that is tolerated in the U.K., manours. :-)

I never asked,but, have you ever tried it with Google Pixel XL? That is what I'm using now... when I first got involved I had an exploding phone ... ( use your imagination ;) ) but the PixelXL has a great camera especially if you like "natural light" photography, and coming from a 35mm background, I do. Thanks in advance for your time,jf weber
Some backers are new to this, they will always wonder, when their product will arrive. For me it's my first project here on Kickstarter. Rigiet Gimbal - It's a new product, a new software, almost 5k backers do really have understanding for late shipping.
How the heck did you hit the $650k stretch goal with a few hours left? When I last checked it was about $18k short and a lot of supporters were asking if they could still get the counter weight even if we fall short. Now it's even blown past that.
It's a bit unbelievable the number of backers who behave here like they've ordered an existing product from Fry's or Walmart. "Hey, I'm going on vacation and I need this before I go!!!" No, we have all backed a new product in development. Shipping in June is a goal, just as much as achieving the original US$30,000 of the KS campaign was a goal. But now the creators have to manufacture 4,581+ of these!
It may take a while to manufacture and ship that many Rigiets. If I get mine by summer's end I will be happy. I've backed a number of KS campaigns and rarely have any of them come in the creator's original estimation for the shipping date for the product.
I enjoy reading comments from backers all over the world with interesting questions and things to share. I hate it when the comments fill up with whiner's inquiring about when their product will ship and they NEED it by a particular date. If that's the case, you should have ordered it from Fry's or Walmart!

I hate it when the comments fill up with whiner's inquiring about when their product will ship and they NEED it by a particular date. If that's the case, you should have ordered it from Fry's or Walmart!
