Help Us Make Our Next Campaign Successful!!!

Posted by Alan Lacy (Creator)

Good Afternoon everyone!

Thank you so much for supporting our campaign here on Kickstarter a year ago! It has meant a lot to us that you have expressed such an interest in Mexican wolves that you supported our campaign. We have continued moving forward with this important film, and over the course of one year, we have managed to film two important events in Mexican wolf recovery! Right now we are working on raising enough funds to complete this film, as we still have a few more locations yet to film, including a two week trip through Mexican wolf habitat in search wild lobos! We are going to need your help again!

We will be launching a new crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, a website just like Kickstarter, on September 15, 2013! That is only 10 days away! We wanted to make sure that you have an opportunity to support us again, as we are determined to produce this film so that we can make a difference for the Mexican wolf! If you haven't already, please "like" our facebook page to keep up to date on our latest information (www.facebook.com/TheLastPack). We will be posting links to our Indiegogo campaign via our facebook page and website.

Help us finish this film, and become a voice for the Lobo!!

Sincerely,

Alan Lacy

The Beginnings of Recovery (And a Film)

Posted by Alan Lacy (Creator)

Hello again everyone. I know our Kickstarter project has long since been over, and we didn't reach our goal, but I wanted to let everyone know we have begun filming for The Last Pack: A Return to the Wild!! Thanks for your support, we really appreciate it! We still have long way's yet to reach our funding goal of $35,000. We need to raise $15,000 by the end of December to film our next part of this journey which follows up on what we just filmed.

For those of you who donated on our website www.thelastpack.org, thank you! We were able to travel to the Endangered Wolf Center in St. Louis, MO to document the transfer of two male Mexican wolves, and their journey to a pre-release facility in New Mexico along with a female lobo from the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. These wolves have a unique opportunity to be released into the wild next year. This part of the film will document and show the hard work and dedication of those involved in securing the future of these animals through a successful captive breeding program!

Please take a moment, and visit our website and donate what you can: www.thelastpack.org. If you can share this post with your friends on Facebook and twitter to help us out, we would greatly appreciate it! Help us support these wolves!

Here are a couple photo's from the field! Enjoy!

Filming to Begin!

Posted by Alan Lacy (Creator)

First of all, thank you to everyone who has supported us so far! We are going to begin filming this weekend at the Endangered Wolf Center in St. Louis, Mo! Two of their male wolves will be transported with a female wolf from the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago to a prerelease facility in New Mexico. These wolves are slated for release into the wild next year, and we will be there to film the beginning of their journey, thanks to you! We appreciate all of your kind support, and we are working hard to raise an additional $30,000 by the end of this year. It is going to be a lot of hard work, but with the help of supporters like you, we can do it! If you haven’t donated to this project, and would like to, please visit www.thelastpack.org and look for the “Donate” buttons throughout the website. Every penny helps, and we appreciate any amount you are able give in support of this film for Mexican wolves. Hopefully this time next year, we will be shipping you a DVD of the film in thanks for supporting this project!

Sincerely,

Alan Lacy

A New Way To Pledge, and Re-Support Us!!

Posted by Alan Lacy (Creator)

For those of you who are still interested in supporting this project, we have updated our website with the option to donate directly to our film. Please take a moment and visit our website at www.thelastpack.org, and help us with whatever amount you can by clicking on the “Donate” button located throughout the website. As our earlier update mentioned, we are going to raise funds in stages. Stage 1 is coming up fast, and we need to raise at least $4,000 in less than 5 days!! This gives us the ability to film an important and critical part of our film, so we need your help! Any amount you can donate will help us out tremendously! If everyone were to re-pledge the same amount on our website as you did on here, we can begin filming The Last Pack! We are honoring the same rewards packages as we have on Kickstarter to those who support us on our website. Thank you so much!
